Palm City, Florida (CNN) - President Obama, fresh off lessons from a top golf coach and a round with Tiger Woods, took to the course for a final time on his Florida private trip Monday.
There were no celebrities or golf experts in today's foursome. The president played for a third day in a row with Trade Representative Ron Kirk, as well as longtime Chicago friend Eric Whitaker, and White House travel director Marvin Nicholson.

While the White House didn't allow media coverage of any of his rounds on the trip, a CNN team was able to capture Obama playing part of two holes. Wearing a dark windbreaker and a hat, Obama took several practice swings before most of his shots.
Did the lessons from Woods' former coach Butch Harmon, and a round Sunday with one of the world's top golfers pay any dividends? There was no word on how the president played overall. But like all golfers trying new things, he found not all improvement happens overnight. He hit one shot from a sandtrap near the green onto the rocks and into the water.
After three days at the exclusive resort, the Floridian, on a holiday weekend break, the president was returning to Washington Monday evening.

Are you serious? Who cares? He holds the most important position in this country's infrastructure, and we're wondering about his golf game? Economy is in shambles. unemployment up . . . in the mean time, i really hope Obama got his swing back. shesh!

golf matches. (This is a legal holiday, called President's Day).
Congress takes another vacation, this time 9 days, and nothing is said and as ususal, nothing is accomplished.
Wrap it up, and move on.
Just like other Presidents, it helps to do something you enjoy, while burdened with the complexities of being number one in the world. It's all about chess and the next move and preempting your opponent.
I'm REALLY glad we're spending all this money for Obama to take yet another golf trip. We even get to spend money for him to get professional lessons. Maybe if he showed even a shred of personal accountability for his own spending, it would be an example for the rest of the country and start leading us in the right direction.
Isn't this really a Marquee Blog item? It has nothing to do w/politics & we're talking about President Obama's vacay/down time hobbies! My experience w/golf is that it's a game played by people in intense job situations who are trying to relax! Same w/shooting hoops or tossing a football around! Glad the 1st Family has some down time, now back to work!!
So, gas prices go up every day for the last month, and not a word by CNN. Who gives a hoot about these two clowns playing golf!
I'd rather the successful businessman and philanthropist Tiger Woods teach the President how to keep his fiscal house in order rather than create an atmosphere that punishes those less fortunate.
But we know that's not on the President's agenda. Not now, not yesterday, and certainly not tomorrow.

I am a regular CNN viewer. I thought the CCN commentators made themselves look like whining children because the President's golf outing with Tiger Woods was closed to the media. Who cares?! The 24 hour news cycle drives this craze for "news", regardless of how totally meaningless it may be.
Is this really important? Golf is a game that is for the wealthy.
While CNN, The Cheesy Non-News Network, yaps about Obama playing golf, has anyone noticed gas prices? Has anyone noticed Obama trying to push amnesty for 11 million illegals vying for American jobs? Has anyone noticed Obama targeting American citizens with drones? Has anyone noticed that health insurance premiums are still rising an average of 8% per year despite Obama's promise that premiums would decrease $2,300 per year? Has anyone noticed the record number of people on food stamps? Has anyone noticed unemployment is still 7.9% and not going down? Does anyone in the media know anything other than Obama playing golf?
OMG! Who cares? Are you serious CNN that the American population cares if this man will be a better golfer? Our Nation is in crisis mode...Unemployment, Crazy high gas prices, Housing still struggling big time, people on medicaid, welfare and disability doubling under this man's leadership, I could go on and on, yet you think we care about his golf game? This guy should go down in the history books as the worst president this country has ever had! He's the type of guy that can be smiling at you or with you and at the same time be sticking a knife in your back! He talks about honesty, where is his! It is a pure shame that people were still under his spell and voted for him this last time! Don't be surprised to see him doing book tours or TV interviews so that he can stay in the spotlight when he is finished with this term. He is a money hungry dude and concerned only with himself.

This guy is not doing us any good. But glad to see he got a golf lesson after spending 180,000 an hour flying down there in air force one and his wife out to what? Time to treat and pay all politicians like the middle class of this country and not treat them like the top 1%. Obama spends more money than the Queen mom by 10 times that is sick when we have so many unemployed.
