Washington (CNN) – One year after giving the keynote address at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, Sarah Palin will be back to speak again.
The American Conservative Union, which runs CPAC, one of the oldest and largest yearly gatherings of conservative leaders and activists from across the country, announced Monday that the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, who recently parted ways as a paid on-air analyst for Fox News, will address the conference.

"We are pleased to again welcome Governor Sarah Palin to CPAC in March," said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. "Governor Palin electrified the crowd in 2012 and we are thrilled to welcome her back this year."
CPAC is considered a popular cattle call for Republicans considering bids for the White House. In the spring and summer of 2011 Palin flirted with a bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, but ultimately decided against a run. At last year's CPAC, which was held during the height of the GOP presidential primaries, Palin seemed to take some digs at former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who ultimately won the nomination.
"Our candidate must be someone who can instinctively turn right to constitutional, conservative principles. It's too late in the game to teach it or to spin it at this point. It's either there or it isn't," said Palin.
But she did add that the GOP "must stand united" behind their presidential nominee.
The day earlier, in an apparent attempt to prove his conservative credentials, Romney called himself a "severely conservative Republican."
Six Republicans who may be contemplating runs for the White House in 2016 will be speaking at CPAC: Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, who was last year's GOP vice presidential nominee, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, who as a 2012 Republican presidential candidate battled Romney deep into the primary calendar, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin.
CPAC, which turns 40 this year, will be held for the first time at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center just outside Washington, in Prince George's County, Maryland. For years the conference was held at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel in the nation's capital.

No names or bad talk but the GOP is fixing themselves up for a real downturn in 2014. The majority is not going to let minority party a louse up this country. @014/ 2016 Go Country center...
Do they know that she is as dumb as a box rocks? She didn't even know there was a south and north Korea and why.
When oh when will this airhead finally ride off into the sunset? They keep wheeling her out to spew out her hate, bigotry and stupidity. No wonder the Rethuglicans don't win... they don't get it. Obama is the best. Hillary 2016

Shining brightly? This country is divided now more than ever because of the president and his administration. Whether you agree or disagree with anything Sarah Palin says or does- she loves this country – which this president has proven he does not.
Um, I see teleprompters ? Say it ain't so.
Hey Palin Power: Dream on!!!! The woman is a dunce. Wake up and smell the coffee. The GOP and Tea Bag biggots are irrelevant.
Well, if she won't go away, I hope she sticks with her own kind and not bother the other 95 percent.
That sound you heard was Governor Jindal banging his head against the wall. Repeatedly.

Shining brightly? This country is more divided now than ever – thanks to Pres. Obama and his administration. One thing is for sure about Sarah Palin – she loves this country – and celebrates Liberty. This president is suffocating us with all of his executive orders, regulations, drones, and lies......
Boy they just don't get it, she's bad for conservatives, I guess the republicans just don't want the White House.
Inviting Sarah Pailin to speak to the American Conservative Union tells you all you need to know about the intellect of their membership. Inviting any one with a higher intellect than a 5th grader would make their heads explode.
Maybe it is just me, but I don't care what politicians have to say anymore. It seems all they do is campaign and never work to get anything done.
I love it.....they keep bringing back the losers, and she is the queen....a total joke
If you think Palin is bad, wait to see what you'd get with Scott Walker. At least Palin (eventually) earned a college degree.
I still want to kick John McCain in the shins for this half-wit.

This country was divided for years by conservative policies, all of which were cheered by the Right when their party introduced them. The only thing that Plain has ever enjoyed is the limelight, but as far as the responsibilities attached to those office that she has been elected to or appointed to, she has run from them to reap the next big payday. As far as loving this country is concerned, our President has made the tough calls because action needed to be taken: action that that the Right was too scared to take. Whether it was an auto bailout, ordering the death of Bin Ladin, or anything else, he has made the tough calls. Has everything gone according to plan? Nope, but I would take his decision-making any day over the obstructionist, stalling, anti-American garbage the Right has spewed out. When the US lost the 2016 Olympics bid, the Right cheered: America loses, and the Right cheers, because they hate one man so much they want to see their country lose. My nephew is overseas for the 2nd time, cleaning up a war the Right wing screwed up. Don't lecture me about patriotism and sacrifice, my family lives it every day, and I feel better with Obama's decisions than I ever did with the Right-wing junta that preceded him.
Let me guess...
It involves a pole?
.
i wonder if the liberals are in secret control of the conservative establishment. i mean....this cant be right....dont they want to win 2016????
The perfect venue for one who is deaf, dumb, stupid, blind and a total idiot, preaching to the total idiots, and the blind, and the dumb, and the stupids and the rest of those maggots who live in bagger land
Looking at the list of speakers shows that the party that gave us tke Klown Kar Parade in 2012 plans a repeat performance with KLOWN KAR PARADE II, an explosive show with a collective IQ of 100 if Palin is there but only 99 if she becomes a no-show, again. Bring on the hatred! Give us more gays, guns, and God talk by a group that collectively hates gays, loves them up their guns, and God wouldn't recognize in a telephone booth.
Humm,
I can see Palin has some of you people's attention. Being Conservative is a common sense point of view, not a Political point of view. The question is, will another Empty Suit get elected, probably not as they are mostly non existant or so insignifant to be noticed. The Liberals want to do great things, they just want to do it with other people's money. Unfortuntantly they are about 17 trillion in the red. Obama is in constant campaigne mode when he need to be working on the problems of the country, the liberals put in place. Keep on dreaming.
I thought her next big gig was poll dancing in anchorage.
Keep talking Palin!!! The more you talk, the more the GOP look like idiots!!!
Freddie nose picker that was funny and true.
CNN, quit giving this woman a forum that she doesn't deserve. No one cares about Sarah Palin. She is a quitter, a half-term governor, a failed VP pick, and has nothing important to say.
