Washington (CNN) - With moist eyes and soft voices, former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife pleaded guilty to federal charges on Wednesday related to years of using campaign funds for personal expenses that included purchases of Michael Jackson memorabilia and a Rolex watch.
"Guilty, your honor," Jackson responded to U.S. District Judge Robert Wilkins while dabbing his eyes with a handkerchief after he looked back at family members in the courtroom, including his father, civil rights activist Jesse Jackson.
thats a surprise a corrupt chicago politian....ah just like a chip off the old block...jessie strong arm money from big business ,,i quess jr. need to watch old dads con game a little better... and not get caught...

either jail or whatever others have gotten for this.....
cue the usual rightie comments with racial innuendo.......
Violating the public trust is an especially serious crime. They stole money from hard-working people who wanted to participate in our democracy. If proven guilty, an obvious assumption based on their admission of guilt, both should go to prison – just like any other citizen. They don't need to do the "country club" prison like Tom Delay. They need the exact same prison other criminals endure.
Go to jail.
Go directly to jail.
Do not pass 'GO'.
Do not collect $200.
Wanna bet he doesn't do any time? Anyone?
There is something in the DNA of Democratic politicians from Chicago that results in them usually spending time in prison. It is called CORRUPTION.
