Washington (CNN) – Pain from forced spending cuts is a week away and lawmakers are preparing their aides for the fallout that could hit them like other government workers.
"We've actually budgeted with a 10% cut in mind," Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-Illinois, told CNN last week.
What's funny that senators, congressmen could have passed resolutions getting salary cuts retroactive but now just starting talking about it because republicans thought as usual the president and democrates would have caved to their aganda but as before republicans the arrogent ones that are actually ignorent are now boxed in by the monster they created, passed last year!!So now republicans you'll die career wise by the creation you have no answer for and good luck nitwits at midterms you republicans are going to need it!!!
Well., they could return a portion of their salaries to the Federal Government. Where there is a will there will be a way!
"Ironically, some tea party-backed lawmakers who campaigned on slashing federal spending are reluctant to give up their pay."
There you have it...
They should take a 25% cut.
The makers needs their jobs, if the congress looking in how much money being spent an how the law makers is using the money, well the congress might cut some vacations sick leaves and a lil more cutting not much the workers hopes.
Let me get this straight.
Congress is off for a week every time there's a Monday holiday. They take two weeks offr for Easter, Christmas and the whole month of August. They are hardly ever at work because it's so much more important to not do the work they have been elected to do.
Federal workers will have to take a 20% paycut. The same federal workers that go to work every day to help the country, even if these turbulent crazies times, keep on moving but they can't take a paycut?
Aren't these morons also federal workers? Just asking.
