Well of course they would. We all know that Rethuglikkklans CANNOT do two things at one time. They have to drop the bs with Hagel so that they can now concentrate on a bigger, more impacting, and far-reaching attempt at making the President fail: sequestration.
Alas, while Hagel will move foreward, and sequestration will be survived the same CANNOT be said of Rethuglikkklans. 2014 is NOT far off at all.
    Say goodnite Gracie....

Republicans will find yet another way to obstruct progress in America. For now they're worried about the $h!+ storm their going to get because of the sequester. As America slips back into a recession, people get furloughed or lose their jobs, the military is put at risk, and housing values fall the GOP deserves the blame. We must throw the obstructionists out in 2014!

They see the handwriting on the wall and are trying to backpedal. Sorry thugs – we won't forget in 2014, and except for a few hangers on (thanks to your gerrymandered districts in rethug states) there's going to be a mass reichwing exodous OUT of DC.

Well, at least they got to make their historical statement by filibustering a cabinet nominee for the first time in history. Just another "record" they've set while in the midst of their existential tantrum.

Another oblabla puppet to be appointed that will do anything in support of the failing liberal agenda...this may be bad news for our military.

The sandbox fight is finally over? Good. All these GOPer temper tantrums get to be a bit silly and quite unworthy of our United States Senate.

I'm told Pepto-Bismal works great for sour grape syndrome. Stock up, GOPers.

How would have imagined the GOP job is becoming a roadblock and filibustering body to prevent our coming out from the difficult time we are facing as a people. One would think they should have been the member of the governing body rather than being an insurgent in the democratically elected government.

Why do you equate rational thinking people with a failing liberal agenda ?

Dose the thought of looking at the world with an open positive mind scare you ?

You can always go on youtube and watch GW Bush reruns .

Obama needs to pass strictures on this idiotic Fillibuster concept–ultimately pass laws and sign.

Great news. He will clean up the mess in Afghanistan. Hagel is not a warmonger and that gives hope to those who wish a peaceful world.
