(CNN) – President Barack Obama intends to nominate longtime diplomat Deborah K. Jones to become U.S. ambassador to Libya, the White House announced Wednesday.
That post was last held by Christopher Stevens, who was among four Americans killed in an attack on a diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, in September.

The people here angry about the Rand filibuster are obviously anti due process.
Before sentencing another American ambassador to death in Libya, Obama needs to come clean and stop the cover up about the death of our last ambassaor at the hands of terrorists. The Benghazi fiasco has been the biggest government cover up in the history of this country. And it was all aided by Obama's propaganda wing, the LSM.
So does this mean that all of the buildings in Libya that our diplomats inhabit are up to the correct standards? Does it mean that there will be sufficient military personnel there to protect them at all times? Or should the family start making funeral preparations now?

Actually, most Dems were thirlled with it. Randroid proved precisely why we need to return to the rule that filibusters must be enacted by standing up in front of the public on the floor of the Senate and either (a) reading the phone book out loud while in manpampers, and thus proving yourself to be a petty fool with no justifiable reason for your obstruction OR (b) show courage of conviction by actually trying to explain and defend your policy positions to the public and justify your filibuster like a rational adult. Instead, the rest of the GOP/Teatrolls have zero courage of conviction and wish to maintain the broken rules that allow them to secretly obstruct all legislation wihout having to explain their behavior to the public. Randroid showed his GOP/Teatroll Senate colleagues to be exactly what we knew they were: infantile, self-serving, opportunist cowards.
