Trump a right-leaning tower at CPAC

(CNN) – Real estate titan Donald Trump was all over the map Friday in his speech to conservatives, criticizing a range of Republicans from Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal to former GOP nominee Mitt Romney–and arguing that the country "is in a total mess."

The billionaire also cooked up a plate of his own solutions for fixing the economy while speaking to the audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Among his advice: Immigration reform could be a "suicide mission" for Republicans and taking oil from Iraq could help reboot the country's economy.

As the conference this year serves as a hub for Republican soul-searching, Trump had his own two cents worth of advice. Without mentioning his name, Trump took aim at Jindal, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, for saying at the Republican National Committee winter meeting that the GOP is acting like "the stupid party."

"When I heard that statement, I said what a horrible statement to make," Trump said. "What a horrible statement, because that's the statement that's going to come back and haunt you when the Democrats start using it."

The media mogul also took a swipe at Romney, saying the GOP nominee and former private equity CEO should have talked more about his success during the campaign.

"People really want success. They want a leader who is successful and Mitt has done a great job and I just feel that the Republicans and Mitt–and I told him this–didn't speak enough about the things he did," he said. "The great things. They were on the defensive instead of taking that offensive."

Trump, known for his fiery opinions, further lamented the Obama administration, blasting the country's immigration system, lack of manufacturing and fiscal problems.

"The fact is we're run by either very foolish or very stupid people. What's going on in this country is unbelievable," he said. "Our country is a total mess. A total and complete mess and what we need is leadership."

One of his ideas to boost the economy included a suggestion to take Iraq's oil and "pay ourselves back" for the war.

"What the hell are we thinking? For those soldiers that were killed, I said we should pay those families money," he continued. "They lost their sons and their daughters and a million dollars to a family is nothing compared to the kind of wealth that you are talking about over there."

Trump added that the leader of Iraq-"we don't even know who the hell it is"-is likely building palaces and a kingdom of wealth now that the U.S. has left, while the American people got "nothing out of it," referring to the war.

He also addressed recent calls from Republicans to create a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

Trump said if Republicans support such a plan, they'll be adding millions of vote into the Democratic column.

"You can be out front, you can be the spearhead, you can do whatever you want to do, but every one of those 11 million people will be voting Democratic. It's just the way it works and you have to be very, very careful because you could say that to a certain extent, the odds aren't looking so great right now for Republicans, that you're on a suicide mission. You're just not going to get those votes."

Ya, just TAKE the oil from Iraq. That was the whole reason we went there in the first place. If you are going to invade a country based on lies and fabrications in order to steal their oil you might as well finish the job. After all, Iraq invaded Kuwait in order to steal their oil didn't they?

Trump was right on multiple accounts that Iraq should pay us back in oil like it was originally agreed upon for freeing their country. And he's most certainly right about the clown party and Romney but he's being hypocritical that of one that's been bankrupted multiple times speaking about another bankrupted, failed executive in Romney,Bain..But there it is folks the republicans are eating their own now aren't they and you're just seeing the tip of the iceberg aren't we!!!

IS DONALD "BIRTHER" TRUMP A RACIST? – The U.S. Justice Dept. sure thinks so and sued TRUMP CORP. MORE THAN ONCE for blatant, old school, Segregationist, Jim Crow, RACIAL DISCRIMINATION – SNOOP DOGG joked on TRUMP vs. OBAMA "Why not? It wouldn't be the first time he pushed a black family out of their home" TRUMP discriminated against Blacks, Hispanics, & Asians who wished to rent or buy TRUMP owned apartment buildings and commercial properties including "TRUMP TOWER" by quoting different rental terms and prices, and lying to Blacks & Latinos that apartments were not available for lease or rent that were available to buy or rent – FOR WHITES ONLY – If you are African American or Latino DONALD “BIRTHER” TRUMP doesn’t want you or your money – Why anybody still pretends that TRUMP is their media friend or that his racist birther attack on President OBAMA is just some kind of harmless joke is hard to believe total denial of the reality of who and what DONALD “BIRTHER” TRUMP is and what he really represents! TRUMP is a 2013 media friendly, hard core RACIST who doesn't say the "N" word at least in public and wears lousy suits from his clothing line he has made in China, instead of a KKK hood & sheet. It is time all real Americans told this phony, mean-spirited, arrogant, loud mouthed, racist “YOU’RE FIRED”...

We can never pay Iraqis for destroying their country with Bush's and Cheney's lies. On top of all we can never bring our young men who died for this war back. Yes the injured too. Well Trump we live in civilized society. We don't bulley people. Cowords do that.

Trumpy is the head of the Stupid Party, and is ready to lead them on a suicide mission into some woman's uterus. They will never be seen again.
"Take the bloody oil our american men fought for!" We can't – we never declared war. Americans have SOME honor left. Your boy Bushy was so eager to get Halliburton into Iraq that he just bypassed UN approval and a declaration of war.

George Bush lied and became president(one of the most disliked) while guys like Don Trump tell the truth and you hate him for it.Go figure. One thing is true though, when all the tax paying jobs are gone is when the politicians will finally admit it was a mistake to let go of all that work.

As long as people like Donald Trump and Sarah Palin continue to have a stage, the Republican party will continue to look like a party that is out of touch with reality. There are so many strong voices within the party, yet the most outspoken are often the ones that are most out of touch. After Trump's "election changing bombshell" debacle last year, how can anyone take him seriously?

Since my previous comment got deleted, Il try to post it again but in a shorter fashion...

First and foremost, our economy is no longer in a mess because thanks to the leadership of the Obama administration, the Great Recession had been defeated, our economy have been stabilized, small as well as large businesses have resurfaced, over 3 million public sector jobs have been saved and over 8 million private sector jobs have been created and saved. The housing crisis has ended, the stock market is at an all time high, jobs are coming back to American shores and the Big Three is thriving and profiting.

Now, when Trump says the economy is in a mess, perhaps he meant to say it was IN a mess when the GOP controlled the House, Senate and the Executive branch.

What a hypocrite! He bemoans the loss of manufacturing jobs to China but his clothing line is made there. Typical CEO. Sells out the USA and American workers for profit.

Frankly, the quick solution to drone strikes is for the "jihadists"(as if this kind of cowardly attack is true jihad) to admit that they are shaming Mohamed pbuh by using his Holy Quran to wipe their fannies after each terror attack. Half the reasons they want to attack us are religious, and half economic; these are not good reasons to war on civilians. When they stop planning bombings and atrocities against us, we will be quick to forgive them and there won't be more drone strikes.
Asking us to forgive our enemies, actually to forgive them, is the most unlikely and terrible part of both Christianity and Western Civilization. But it may be the most basic building block . . .

As far as the Iraq paying for the war, first and foremost, the Iraqi people NEVER EVER did came to the United Nations asking for a change of regime or for freedom from anything. I beliebe we invaded Iraq over blatant lies about WMDs and Iraq being "an imminent threat to America." And so far, we have indaded and destabilize a sovereign nation and given rise to sectarian violence, civil war, carnage and misery that the Iraqi people did not called for. So why should the Iraqi government pay for an illegitimate and deadly war they didn't call for??? Total garbage.
