On eve of Israel trip, Obama tells Iran to disarm

Washington (CNN) – On the eve of his first trip as president to Israel, President Obama on Monday delivered a message to Iranian's leadership saying that the country will face increased isolation if it continues to pursue a nuclear policy.

The comments came as part of the president's video address to the Iranian people marking the beginning of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year.

"If the Iranian government continues down its current path, it will only further isolate Iran," Obama said. "This is the choice now before Iran's leaders."

"I have no illusions about the difficulty of overcoming decades of mistrust," he continued. "It will take a serious and sustained effort to resolve the many differences between Iran and the United States."

As he has in previous years, Obama used the Nowruz address to attempt to stir public opinion among Iranian citizens that their leaders are having a detrimental effect inside the country's borders.

"I hope they choose a better path-for the sake of the Iranian people and for the sake of the world," Obama said. "Because there's no good reason for Iranians to be denied the opportunities enjoyed by people in other countries, just as Iranians deserve the same freedoms and rights as people everywhere."

While the White House has long said that no option is off the table in dealing with Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons, Obama stressed that he continues to seek a diplomatic solution.

"The United States prefers to resolve this matter peacefully, diplomatically," he said. "Indeed, if-as Iran's leaders say-their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, then there is a basis for a practical solution."

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

Numerous intelligence service, including ours, have stated categorically that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon. Yet, the intentional use of the word "Disarm", which the President did not use, is meant to achieve the propagandist's aims.

Well thank God Obama has told them to do this and we all know they will immediately comply and do as the Messiah demands. I really am starting to think that Obama thinks he is a jedi mind bender from the planet Libtron.

Or was this his pathetic attempt to sabre rattle? I'm pretty sure the Iranians are getting a good laugh out of this one.

Gosh. The Iranian's are really worried now. They actually might have to convince Neville Chamberlain, er, Obama, that those nukes on launchers are actually portable electricity generators.

Our strong statement from our fearless leader: "The United States prefers to resolve this matter peacefully, diplomatically," he said. "Indeed, if-as Iran's leaders say-their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, then there is a basis for a practical solution."

Obama said. “Because there’s no good reason for Iranians to be denied the opportunities enjoyed by people in other countries, just as Iranians deserve the same freedoms and rights as people everywhere.”

President Obama believes in the "light of freedom" and advances this "god of fortesses" as the true way if life, which confesses that it is right to be free to worship any god.

But it is Only Christ that will rule with only the Will of the One True God.

Oh. well, if he said disarm, that is that. Safe and sound we are...just like President Clinton offering a reactor if they promised not to make weapons....that made me feel safer also.

Iranian leadership fails to see what the rest of the world is saying. When they fail to understand sponsoring terrorists isn't what the rest of the world is looking for when it comes a responsible soverign nation.

The analysis of the 16 US intelligence agencies all agree that there is no hard evidence indicating that Iran has even decided to construct a nuclear bomb.

American intelligence assessments have continued to be congruent with the 2007 intelligence report which clearly concluded that Iran had in fact completely abandoned their nuclear program years before.

So, how can the governments of the United States and Israel continue to ignore their own intelligence agencies and nonsensically push forward with the effort to go to war with Iran?
