Obama heads to Israel with few expectations, many questions

Jerusalem (CNN) – The banners hanging on Israeli street corners boast of the "Unbreakable Alliance" with the United States, and the Stars and Stripes is flying side by side with the Star of David all across Jerusalem.

It is a proud moment for the host nation. But as President Barack Obama heads to Israel and the West Bank for the first time since moving into the White House, there is no expectation of any significant policy breakthroughs and countless questions about his frosty relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

After Netanyahu's trip to the US a couple of years ago where he made his preferences in American politcs known, can you blame Pres. Obama if he's wary of Netanyahu. Netanyahu did not extend an invite to Pres. Obama during his first term, almost as if to put a black mark on his legacy as being a lone POTUS who did not visit Israel. I'm also willing to bet that the main interest for Netanyahu is increased US aid, not peace with the Palestineans.

It's time for Pres.Obama to lay the ground rules down for Netanyahu and Isreals future and Netanyahu won't be happy either about it..No more threats from a little sand dune of a nation in Isreal calling out other countries acting like a bully because the US always backs them up..Netanyahu should learn more tact and diplomacy than acting like a spoiled brat that screams and always gets his way,its got to stop and now with Pres.Obama face to face with him what better time to tell him that!!This is like telling your dead beat relative the handouts are over and if he's going to survive yah better do it on his own two feet not with our help constantly backing him up!!Pres.Obama has got to tell these countries the handouts are over till we get our own house in order economicly or it'll never come to them at all, again tell them the straight truth now so they're not shocked to hear it from someone else later!!
