New York (CNNMoney) - Republican state lawmakers may not want to expand Medicaid, but some are warming up to the idea of using federal funds to buy private insurance for the poor.
That twist is keeping alive the possibility of broadening Medicaid coverage in states where conservative legislators are bucking their governors' acceptance of the optional - and controversial - Affordable Care Act provision.
Got to love the Repubs effort. Want to take the money but dont want to seem like they are taking it, get it!!
The biggest problem Republicans have with health care reform is that they do not have a plan.anymore. Pres. Obama and the Democrats adopted a plan that came out of conservative think tanks a decade ago. For no better reasons than pride and arrogance for not having introduced the ideas at the national level themselves,
Republicans now object to these approaches to health care reform. It's almost as if no change or new ideas are allowed to be introduced, not unless a Republican is the one to introduce the new ideas. Like I said at the top, pride and arrogance.
Yah Medicaid run states you know those republican led ones that are mostly red ,southern and racially bigotted as well. The states that get more governmental handouts than they give in revenues..The states that gripe the most against Pres.Obama with their food stamp filled mouths full, hands out for more freebies..Remember those republican led states that want tax cuts but pay very little if they pay at all and those states if not accepting the ACA bill they'll go eventually bankrupt and you ignorent mostly white bigotted posters know it but again your arrogence always overwhelmes your ignorence doesn't it with Floridas Scott and other radical republican governors coming forward saying before they're against the ACA bill because of Pres.Obama nothing else but now knowing well its economic implications wholly accept it,what hypocracy, what ignorence but that republicans as a whole isn't it!!
