Congresswoman's gun magazine #fail

(CNN) - Initially Rep. Diana DeGette was against large gun magazines because they "put the 'mass' in 'mass shooting'" but now the Colorado Democrat has warmed to them. If enough people use them, she said, eventually the supply will run out.

Her comments sparked mockery from conservatives.

Reagan siblings at odds over same-sex marriage

(CNN) – Two of the late President Ronald Reagan's children are taking opposing stances on same-sex marriage, as Supreme Court justices weigh a federal ban prohibiting marriages between gays and lesbians.

Michael Reagan, a conservative author, defended a controversial op-ed piece warning of a "slippery slope" after same-sex marriage approval during an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan on Wednesday.

RNC chair suggests Democrats support infanticide through Planned Parenthood

(CNN) – Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus linked the women's health provider Planned Parenthood to the killing of newborn children in an op-ed article published Wednesday on the conservative website RedState.com.

His article - under the headline "Media Covers up Democrat-Backed Planned Parenthood's Support for Infanticide" - blasted the media for not covering the recent testimony of a Planned Parenthood representative in Florida, who provided veiled responses to questions from state lawmakers on what should happen to a baby born after a botched abortion.

(CNN) – Justin Timberlake's grand return is going to Washington.

The White House announced this week that the 32-year-old artist is slated to perform there on April 9 as part of an evening of celebration for Memphis Soul music. (The Tennessee native's latest album in particular, "The 20/20 Experience," has stood out with critics for its more soulful sound.)

Polls: Partisan and generational divides over pathway to citizenship

Washington (CNN) - As Congress tries to reach consensus on how to deal with border security and immigration reform, two new national polls indicate that nearly six in ten Americans support an eventual pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers.

But the surveys point to a wide partisan gap as well as a generational divide over the proposal, which appears to be the most contentious part of the debate over immigration reform.

(CNN) - It may have been a foregone conclusion, but Stephen Colbert formally endorsed his sister in her bid for Congress Wednesday.

The comedian – who appears on his nightly show as a conservative pundit – joked he was ready to join the "poster committee" for sister Elizabeth Colbert Busch's campaign in South Carolina, pulling out some Elmer's glue and glitter to whip up a sign.

(CNN) – The Ready for Hillary super PAC is getting some high-profile help.

James Carville, the Democratic strategist who has close ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, sent an email to the group's distribution list saying he supports the PAC and wants people to get on board.

(CNN) – Hillary Clinton is coming back to your bookshelves.

The former secretary of state – and potential candidate for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination – inked a deal with Simon & Schuster to write a book "sharing key decisions and experiences as secretary of state," the publisher announced Thursday.
