Borger: Crunch time for Obama and Washington

Washington (CNN) - It's not often that a presidential to-do list (and legacy-making agenda) comes down to a couple of key weeks, but here we are: gun control, immigration reform and the budget - all front and center, right now.

It's an odd time in Washington. The president has been dating Republicans, dining with senators with whom he has hardly spoken in the past. Republicans seem to believe they can actually work with the president - on immigration, at least.

    yeah... it's been 4.5 years! where the heck are all the jobs from that massive trillion dollar stimulus packaage you spent 4 years ago?!!

    the economy and jos siituation is stil a shambles and all this idiot does is parade around the country talking about guns, gays and illegals.

    Legacy making agenda? Hasn't Obama already done that with losing our country's AA credit rating, passing screwy healthcare legislation, balancing the budget, getting millions of patriotic Americans back to work?! Having the longest highest period of unemployment in recent history! Closing the people's house to tours. I would say Obama has quite a legacy already so why worry about that.
