(CNN) - Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia was noticeably moved by the Sandy Hook families he met Wednesday afternoon. He met with them just hours after unveiling a bipartisan bill alongside Republican Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania that would extend background checks to guns bought online and at gun shows.
"I can do something," an emotional Manchin told the parents who lost children in the Sandy Hook attack.
And a fine job you did sir.
It seems most of the gop is out of the 90% of Americans that favor gun control loop . The 90 % vote ,the nra lobby doesn't ,do the math if you want to keep your job gop morons@!!!!
Thank you Sen. Joe Manchin and Sen. Pat Toomey for at least trying.
How about getting the mentally ill off our streets? That would be SOMETHING that would actually make SENSE!
Pass gun-control laws. Period.
He has been working on it... It made a hurdle in the Senate today. We'll have to see what amendments are added and what passed.
