Palin no fan of ‘pathetic’ #nerdprom

(CNN) - Conan O’Brien and President Barack Obama may have had the political crowd in high spirits at Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, but in Alaska, Sarah Palin wasn’t laughing.

“Yuk it up media and pols,” the former Alaska governor wrote on her Facebook page. “While America is buried in taxes and a fight for our rights, the permanent political class in DC dresses up and has a prom to make fun of themselves. No need for that, we get the real joke.”

On Twitter she was even more barbed.

“That #WHCA was pathetic. The rest of America is out there working our asses off while these DC assclowns throw themselves a #nerdprom,” she wrote.

While this year’s dinner may have rubbed Palin the wrong way, she’s shown a little more love for the annual event in the past. In 2011, she attended an afterparty sponsored by Vanity Fair and Bloomberg News, held at the home of the French ambassador in Washington.

But she’s never attended the event, and has long mocked what she calls the “lamestream media” for an overly cozy relationship with the political establishment.

She hates anything or anyone who thinks. She does this for money. Time for America to get over her. We have serious business to tend to.

What's this? Sarah Palin still trying to be relevant in 2013? Really I'm shocked.

The only reason she used the word is her vocabulary is limited to four letter words.

Sarah Palin: no morals, no class, no brains. Thank you for being the best running joke, though.

At what point do we finally agree that this person is the absolute epitome of irrelevance? Does anyone truly care what this loser thinks? Does the lack of response to her latest blabber tell you anything? If the media would stop treating her las if she has any importance, maybe she'll just go away.

Maybe they should all quit the jobs they were elected to do mid-term, and become paid speakers. I guess that would be the right thing to do.

Jeeze, someone had her knickers in a twist over not being invited! It sounds as if Palin has been tr ol ling the Web too much in her too-free time. Her words choices and speech patterns are very familiar.

The Correspondents' Dinner has a long tradition. It has little to do with real politics, and it may foster (as was the original intent) some bonhomie. At the very least, it allows a safe environment in which the president can poke fun at his detractors.

This sour grapes thing with Palin is getting old. Lashing out just to get attention is, to borrow her overused word, "pa the tic."

What an asshole she turned out to be! But who is surprised at her ill-mannered, biased, hate-filled attitude toward anything this black president does? I wonder how she would have felt about this event if enough people had been racist enough to have voted her and McCain in despite their clearly obvious lack of qualifications...and just how many wars would we be currently engaged in if we had? And is it just me, or has she started looking like an evil, old witch...where's the History Channel when you need them!

She's never been invited? . . . poor thing!! That would explain the bitterness she spews from her big mouth for those that actually know how to unwind and have a little fun. For someone who abandoned the State of Alaska half-way through your governorship for more lucrative and ultra-lunatic endeavors she certainly doesn't have any room to talk about anybody else. She needs to just disappear, keep her idiot mouth shut and sit on her porch and admire the beauty that is Russia - that she can see so well from there. lol

That's some classy language there, lady. Thanks for setting a great example for our children. Maybe we wouldn't be buried in taxes if your allies hadn't outsourced every manufacturing job worth having or insourced foreigners for IT.

Now, don't you have a job to quit?

Pffft . . . "The rest of America is out there working our asses off" – oh, except of me, of course, I quit the job I was elected to do halfway through. Please.
