Borger: Did political spin hide the truth of Benghazi?

Washington (CNN) - Ever since Watergate became the shorthand for a government run amok, the political cliché of our time has been about the political lesson of that era: That the coverup can be worse than the crime.

Apply that cliché to Benghazi - and questions about the motive for removing the terror link from talking points about the Libyan attack in the heat of an election. Maybe there's a corollary question that we ought to be asking: In politics, when did spin trump everything, even the truth?

Borger...yet another one who never said BOO about Dubya his lies, his embassy attacks, his wars of convenience, etc., but suddenly has a case of pretending to possess critical thinking skills.

Hey CNN,why don't you cover the 90% of the country instead of the10% of the gop and teaparty morons that don't count and can't win a national election in this century . Gop garbage!!!!

Just more gop bs and propaganda because they have nothing to run on. Housing up jobs up ,stock market up health care for all Americans besides congress freeloaders , why would any body vote for the gop. Answer. So we could go backwards . The gop has done nothing for five. Years except hold 37 votes to repeal obamacare and hold meaningless and expensive hearings and get no results. Gop goodbye in2014.

This was more than spin. This was an entirely manipulated event, where Obama and Hillary, actually created a propaganda video for Pakistan dissemination, that blamed the YouTube video, falsely, and they used it as an excuse to apologize for FREEDOM of SPEECH, in America!

That was simply INCREDIBLE! The YouTube video had NOTHING to do with Benghazi, whatsoever.

"Hey CNN,why don't you cover the 90% of the country instead of the10%..."

No doubt CNN journalists are having too difficult a time adjusting Facebook conversations as the new American journalism tool to consider (or concern themselves) with the workings of real America.

    "Ah, yes. Watergate.
    She. Went. There."

Of course she did. Lemme paraphrase Borger's article: "Please believe that this is still relevant, important, and immediately pressing and that all of the investigations, thousands of documents, hundreds of hours of testimony and briefings have all revealed absolutely nothing whatsoever and that we're still stuck at square one without any answers at all. This controversy isn't dead yet...and, ummmm, don't you think the GOP has just a little bit of a point...maybe just a little? Come on guys, don't let this thing die. I mean, we've got 24 hours a DAY to try to fill up with news AND somehow manage to get you to watch the advertising in between...work with us here!!!!!!"

The smoking email by Victoria Nuland is at the crux of the Republicans story on Benghazi.
    So who is Victoria Nuland?
Victoria was a policy advisor to Vice President Dick Cheney.
    Dr. Death rises again.

" to apologize for FREEDOM of SPEECH"

Oh give it a rest, Gomer. Apologizing because the content of what was said is offensive is not the same as apologizing for the right to say it. Grow. The. Hell. Up.

  13. The REAL Truth...

@Rick McDaniel – That was simply INCREDIBLE! The YouTube video had NOTHING to do with Benghazi, whatsoever.
    ----------------------
Ricky, there is absolutely no proof of that. Just as there's no proof of a cover up, merely another Repugnant witch hunt to ensure Hilary is damaged goods for 2016, and a hey, we'll take the benefit of putting a nail in Obama's lame duck session if we can gain that too. Too bad the Rethugs we not watching during Bush's regime:

And for John....Regarding the Embassy attacks you listed. No complaints, no invesitgation, and no finger point would be because there was no false narrative (i.e. Lies), no denied requests for security and no American died.

"An act of terror" or a "terrorist attack." Stated either way, Romney still would have lost.
