Source: Two 'rogue' workers principally behind IRS targeting of conservatives

Washington (CNN) – The Internal Revenue Service has identified two "rogue" employees in the agency's Cincinnati office as being principally responsible for "overly aggressive" handling of requests by conservative groups for tax-exempt status, a congressional source told CNN.

In a meeting on Capitol Hill, acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller described the employees as being "off the reservation," according to the source. It was not clear precisely what the alleged behavior involved.

  3. Obama, the new Sgt. Schultz, I know NOTHING, I see NOTHING, I hear NOTHING....

Looks like the low level scape goats have been identified... So what about all the highers ups that knew this was going on for so long? And what about the same thing going on in other IRS locations/offices?

Frankly, the entire Obama adminstration has gone rogue and needs to be fired.

Let's publish the names of these so-called "rogue" IRS employees.

They will be immediate heroes for attempting to burn out the Teatard infestation. The rest of us will see to it that they never want for a good job and livelyhood.

Of course, two rogue employees acting on their own......and by off reservation does that mean suspended with pay pending a promotion in a different dept to hide them? Based on the complete corruption of this admin it likely does.

Good observation! I'll bet the President has all IRS agents on his speed-dial – along with every other military and civil service employee in the federal government... Hate and racism are powerful motivators and can make Americans work only towards destructive goals – like the Taliban.

Just last month: CNN reported "When it comes to cheating the U.S. government, some federal employees seem to know a thing or two about how it's done."
Twenty-four former and current IRS employees have been indicted for allegedly claiming they were unemployed in order to receive jobless benefits, food stamps, welfare payments and housing vouchers while they were employed at the IRS.
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE OVERSEEING OBAMACARE???

Are the shrub #43 and his puppeteer vp going to jail for for killing over 4,000 Americans and thousands of Iraqis on a lie of a war?
Why aren't the rethugs going after them for war crimes?
BTW they are voting for the 37th to repeal Obamacare. That is all they are interested in take the man down and the country along with his administration. This despite the American people (you listening bo ner?) not wanting their tax dollars wasted. Ehats that about the definition of doing the same thing over nd over again so the same results?

Let's see, there were four rogue politicians that cost the lives of thousands. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice. The foaming at the mouth republicans, responsible for the invasion of a sovereign nation and the deaths of Americans, have never been brought to justice. It's likely they never will be. Republicans are notorious for feigning outrage and indignation over perceived wrongdoings, yet they fail to see the enormous impact they have had on the people. And the people seem to not notice the freedoms and liberties they have given up, just by voting for a republican.

@ stupid individuals of the government will bite the dust for the real persons, what was their reward, a year of wages. Any one check on the letters reported last night, written by Democrats ( Schumer, Carl Levin, and Buccus to name a few) who wrote to the IRS to check on the Tea party Conservatives after the 2010 elections. When are the national media going to finally do some real investigation reporting.

Strange comments coming from an individual who could never refer to the President or anyone on the left without invoking lying, union toady, etc....the laundry list of abuse you've left on these boards stretches on and on. If you read what I posted yesterday regrding this, I made it abundantly clear that I don't support what happened, but the outrage being shown by people on the Right ignores their own history of using government to settle scores; exhibit A, Sarah Palin.
