s are higher than what I pay now, with BCBS advantage and Medicare. Are the elderly going to be able to keep what they have? OR Is the government going to sock it to the elderly too?

If these are the "silver" level rates, where are the bronze rates CNN? I'm calling bullpucky on these numbers for the simple fact these rates are higher than an insurance policy through your employer. Come on Fox-lite. You got to come better than that.

I think this deductible needs to go up to 5000 dollars and copay to zero. Put a lot of PAs, NPs to private practice in rural areas along with foreign doctors. Raise the tax on wealthy that make 250k or more to cover the costs. Way to go. I like this legislation. God bless you, Obama.

Of course not. This was shoved down the throats of the people, by a lunatic President, who ignored the will of the people, who knew they didn't want his plan.

This will be the nail in the coffin for the dems. Next yaer when the ACA goes into full effect the faults of Obamacare will felt and realized by the american people and they will vote out all the dirty dems from office in 2014 and 2016.

Obamacare is so great that the democrats are trying to get rid of the Grassley Amendment. Which basically says they have to use the Obamacare exchanges (like us regular people). But the staffers and aides are complaining it will be to expensive for them?!?! What about the rest of us? Obamacare is the biggest, most expensive, flop there has ever been. More proof liberals have no sense, common or otherwise.

Well...I would love to have this health insurance premium...currently between my retired husband and I we pay ALMOST $1500 per month in ins. premiums on a One Million lifetime benefit, $2500 cap annually on prescriptions and a $1500 deductible...give us CA. Obamacare plan any day of the week....The monthly premiums are killing us, we are stuck with Aetna because my husband has a pacemaker (pre-existing condition) which happened in the first year of retirement and other insurance Co. won't touch us for less of a premium. We are praying that we can get some rellief because of Obamacare in 2014, as we won't benefit from Medicare for another 4 years.

That's an expensive health care package. A family of four making $30k to $40 can't afford to use it.

Let's see... add $2000 deductible to $3852 (12 x $321) and you're out almost $6000 before Obamacare pays a dime. Now tell me again WHY a sane person wouldn't just eat the $1000 fine (I mean TAX)????

Yes, indeed... nothing says "Affordable" like the "Affordable" Care Act.

Trust me that deductible is not affordable for many, however an illnessthat is not covered by employer insurance can go way above 2000 and bankrupt the family. This is better than nothing.

why don't you post the entire bill word for word and let the public actually decide. representatives on both sides signed the bill without even reading the whole bill, that doesn't sound like a representative democracy to me. sounds like the american people are being lied by our public servants and the media.
