Obama strongly considers withdrawing all troops from Afghanistan in 2014

(CNN) - President Barack Obama is seriously considering withdrawing all U.S. troops from Afghanistan in 2014, a senior administration official told CNN.

The official's comments came after The New York Times reported the administration was looking at speeding up the troop withdrawal to the "zero option," leaving no troops in Afghanistan.

Before that tighten these H1-B and J1 visas, friend. Did you ever go out of WH? Decrease number in immigrations–these guys want to rob our benefits. No love last for them on USA, friend, learn in a hard way. If not USA will see a hardship ten years down the road. They bring the wages way down. Do not give immigrations in a crazy way–let them learn and earn in hard way–be it IT or Doctors.

Let's get it done. As you've stated Mr. President, "“We must move beyond the mindset of perpetual war." I agree whole hearted with that assessment. The neocons out there will like us to be involved in every conflict that takes place in the Middle East. Our mission in Afghanistan of training soldiers is pretty much a done deed. We need to bring our troops home ASAP!

pull the troops out in 2014........the GOP response "You are leaving our ally. How could you!" Leave some troops in....the GOP response "Pull them out now. You are endangering our troops" No matter what Obama says, the naysayers and obstructionists will say the opposite

Good. Start now and we can be out by Jan 1, 2014 or sooner. Leave no troops and cut off the funds.
The corrupt Karzai brothers can fend for themselves.

Any modern major military conflict that goes on for 12 years w/out any sign of "Victory" is a waste of men & money.

If you leave troops, karzai, and company will hhave them killed in grand fahion, as an attempt to prompt us to stay, their government relies on our money, cut them off as soon as were out completely. he is becoming more aggitated, and unreliable, for what little we get now, his government clearly has no loyalty for us. he is as corrupt as they come. get out asap

He is the worst Commander-in-Chief this country has ever seen. His agenda only relates to elections. Not the well-being of the lives of the troops, or the stability of our national security. Disgusting.

" His agenda only relates to elections. Not the well-being of the lives of the troops, or the stability of our national security. "

Yeah, because, as everyone knows, bringing them home from Afghanistan to rejoin their families and friends would put them all in terrible, imminent danger of death or bodily harm, would irreparably destroy their lives and well-being and cause WW3 within a few weeks.

This is a business for them, plain and simple, would you work on a project for decades with zero progress? of course not, get out. karzai is becoming more hostile as we show the world the level of corruption, and lack of doing what you say you will to help the problem, but, thats the absolute last thing they want. we tried diplomacy for how many years, snuffed every time, now that we are scheduled to leave, they want to talk, they want our money and will say anything to get it, they wont follow through, they see how we work here, all talk, no action, we are the laughing stock of the entire planet, we cant even help ourselves, they watch us fall apart from the inside out, sad.

Zero option sounds like waving the white flag. This would make those progressive zombies happy with Obama. How about retiring Karzai?
