God, these comments display a complete lack of understanding of why abortions happen, as well as an 'every sperm is sacred' mentality. The US can be so backwards, and I'm concerned how far the American Taliban will push it. The Middle East also used to be the wealth, trade and intellecutal center of the world, and look what happened to it. Our decline seems to be happening faster, unfortunately.

It appears to me that the people who want abortion banned are also the ones voting to take away programs that help women in need, fostering, adoption, welfare, etc... Banning abortion won't stop people from having unprotected sex and it certainly won't stop unwanted pregnancies.. There hasn't been any talk about what will happen to the children who are born to people that don't want them.. Really sad in my opinion. I don't like abortion nor the idea of it but I also don't want to see an increase in child abuse, neglect, harm or other welfare issues.

I don't think it will pass into law.

Wonder why some many abortion clinics are in minority neighborhoods? Google the woman who laid the foundation for Planned ParentHood...Margaret Sanger.. She agreed with the cause of eugenics! '

oh please, the US in general agreed with the cause of eugenics. Heck the US still had various eugenics programs running in the 1970s. Her view point was nothing unusal for the time.

So you're saying you agree with me? Cool!
The foundation of abortion is eugenics! Thanks for agreeing!

A baby isn't a baby until it pops out. If it's still in the belly, it is still part of the lady.

The Bible, in Exodus 21:22-23 says that abortion is not murder, and in Leviticus 27:6 says that a child less than 1 month has NO value.
Print out and spam it at Texas churches. Tell them "We will strangle your faith if you try to stop abortion"
We need to end the abortion debate NOW so that we can focus on real issues, like the NSA stuff

That same Bible says God knows us and has a plan for us while we are yet in the womb.

    I just read that!
22 “If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely[a] but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows.
23 But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life,
24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.

LIFE FOR LIFE! You are woefully incorrect! This has NOTHING to do with WILLFUL abortion. This has everythning to do with a life taken accidently!
The scripture in Leviticus deals with dedicating one to the Lord and the equivilent value one deposits into the treasury for that dedication. Once again, it has NOTHING to do with abortion! Most importantly, this only applies if you are an Old Testament Hebrew and NOT a New Testament Christian. You may want to relook this.

There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
