    @Steveo,

    The replacement will be hated by ALL on the Right, let's not kid ourselves into believing otherwise.

    As for Palin, I think most of the hate from the Left towards her comes from the fact that she is just so annoying. Most on the Right find her pretty irritating – and embarrassing – as well. She's like the loud neighbor you're stuck next to who has an ill-informed opinion on everything.

    I disagree. Blanket statements are almost never true! Doubt you actually surveyed EVERYBODY on the right! Case in point, I lean right but do not, will not hate the replacement nor do I hate Napolitano! May not like her politics or some actions but hate her? No! Sorry DD but not only are blanket statements dangerous, they are also lazy! It takes NO effort or research to make one! In saying that I submit, SOME on the right l will hate the replacement (probably will be fillibustered) just like SOME on the left hate Palin! SOME is more truthful than ALL.

    So being annoying is a reason to hate? If that is true, Gilbert Gottfried is in serious trouble!

    Napolitano served over four years. She served one full term and several months. And now the right wing wants to call her a quitter? ??? You're right. "No difference, except party"

    @anotherGDlefty

    Oh poor delusional SteveO trying to compare the half term half wit Palin to someone that FINISHED one term as governor to be re-elected and then chosen for a federal post.
    Comparing someone with a journalism degree to a former AG and full term governor?
    Laughable SteveO, just laughable.

    Please continue to send the Wasilla grifter as much money as you can afford and keep begging her to run for offi

    Keep laughing but Napolitan is not quitting a governship! The story says she is quitting a s the DHS secretary. Circling the wagons as hard as you are only makes you dizzy!

    NO politician gets a dime for me, if you don't believe that, all you need to do is prove me wrong!

    With a trillion dollars annual budget & enormous clout Homeland Security is not a place to resign from, then what prompted her?
    Is it something to do with the uproar over spying? All agencies are involved.
