Bachmann wants to 'spank' Obama

(CNN) – She tried to run against President Barack Obama as last year's GOP nominee.

But with that dream dashed, Rep. Michele Bachmann has another idea.

"He has a perpetual magic wand, and nobody's given him a spanking yet and taken it out of his hand," the Minnesota Republican told WorldNetDaily. "That's what Congress needs to do. The way we spank the president is we do it through the checkbook."

She was speaking to the conservative website about the ongoing battle over comprehensive immigration reform. The "magic wand" she refers to is the power to implement executive actions, like the one taken by Obama last year to defer deportations of young undocumented immigrants who were brought here by their parents.

A bipartisan immigration reform bill passed the Senate last month that included a pathway to citizenship, which many Republicans, including Bachmann, regard as "amnesty."

As the push for immigration reform slows in the House, Bachmann warned fellow opponents of a pathway to citizenship that resistance in the lower chamber may not hold up under pressure from GOP leaders who she said were sold on an "amnesty bill."

"The only game in town is legalization, for President Obama and for Senate Democrats. They want that legalization status," Bachmann, who will not run for re-election in 2014, said.

She suggested using Congress' ability to allocate funds to reject Obama's priorities, including the Affordable Care Act.

"We have the power of the purse," she said. "The most powerful body in Washington D.C. is the House of Representatives, which I'm honored to be a part. We're the ones that say, 'No, you can't have the money.' What's wrong with us? What is wrong with us that we would give the president ten cents to fund Obamacare?"

If you enter the country without proper paperwork, the Republicans want to punish you for 13 years and then call that amnesty. If you shoot and kill someone you serve an average of less time in jail than that. (Sometimes not even that if the victim is not white.) Bachman and her Klan are a bunch of clowns we need to remove them from any position of authority.

This is a person who has Swiss citizenship. She should have left congress as soon as she accepted the citizenship. No dual citizenship should be allowed for our elected officials. There is no good coming from divided loyalties.

Does she realize the Affordable care act is for the people. Regardless of how well it's going work. This hurts the masses more than the President. Why doesn't she or the Repubs come up with something better or work to improve Obamacare. Oh that's right they are only good at doing nothing!!

What a disgusting, disprespectful and shameful way to speak about the President of the United States. She's horrible (and about as smart as a thumb tack).

This woman is an embarrassment to the U.S. Congress and an indictment on the lowest common mental denominator that elects and supports her. It's time to empty the clown car and remove all the crazy, fringe zealots from American government.

The GOP needs to rid themselves of the likes of Bachmann and the Tea Party if they ever hope to have a seat at the adult table again.

I am probably more of a Republican than anything, yet I still don't base my feelings or beliefs on politics. However, I'd like to see this woman fall into a deep hole and never be seen again.

Soooo, does that mean that all 300 million of us have to leave? We are all immigrants in one way or another. I'm still perplexed by the fact that anyone listens to this idiocy. What is she? Palin's evil twin?
