Bachmann wants to 'spank' Obama

(CNN) – She tried to run against President Barack Obama as last year's GOP nominee.

But with that dream dashed, Rep. Michele Bachmann has another idea.

"He has a perpetual magic wand, and nobody's given him a spanking yet and taken it out of his hand," the Minnesota Republican told WorldNetDaily. "That's what Congress needs to do. The way we spank the president is we do it through the checkbook."

She was speaking to the conservative website about the ongoing battle over comprehensive immigration reform. The "magic wand" she refers to is the power to implement executive actions, like the one taken by Obama last year to defer deportations of young undocumented immigrants who were brought here by their parents.

A bipartisan immigration reform bill passed the Senate last month that included a pathway to citizenship, which many Republicans, including Bachmann, regard as "amnesty."

As the push for immigration reform slows in the House, Bachmann warned fellow opponents of a pathway to citizenship that resistance in the lower chamber may not hold up under pressure from GOP leaders who she said were sold on an "amnesty bill."

"The only game in town is legalization, for President Obama and for Senate Democrats. They want that legalization status," Bachmann, who will not run for re-election in 2014, said.

She suggested using Congress' ability to allocate funds to reject Obama's priorities, including the Affordable Care Act.

"We have the power of the purse," she said. "The most powerful body in Washington D.C. is the House of Representatives, which I'm honored to be a part. We're the ones that say, 'No, you can't have the money.' What's wrong with us? What is wrong with us that we would give the president ten cents to fund Obamacare?"

How typical of Ms. Bachmann to speak about magic wands rather than anything of genuine substance. Michele Bachmann is an embarrassment to all thinking people.

Hearing Michelle Bachmann criticize the President is like Justin Bieber telling us that Beethoven was a hack.

And hypothetically, if she had won office, what would she have thought of the power then? As if she wouldn't have been questioning if the power could be used against abortion.

Undoubtedly one of the most moronic and disrespectful things an elected official could possibly say about a President. Don't they take some kind of oath? I would love to see a woman president, but I would NOT vote for this one...

"We should vote them all out of the House and Senate and replace them with Liberatarians" I've been very disappointed by the way Libertarians have dropped their pants and mooned reality during the last two elections, and I have written them off and no longer bother to support them. If they ever get to be more than a couple of Senators, they will be worse than al-Qaeda fanatics or by-the-book Communists. Libertarianism has gone from an atheistic philosophy of financial anarchy to a religion with Holy Books brought from On HIgh. Yes, Rand, I'm talking to you and your dad. You'd wreck us all just to try out these whack ideas about the gold standard or unregulated drug sales and guns for everyone, with no hope of success.

GOP Just passes the Farm Bill that subsidizes Trillions of dollars to the farming industry and some of them do not even grow anything on their land. A good example is Michelle Bachmann received farm subsidy money for years who do not farm. I thought GOP wants to cut wastful spending; obviously NOT. They just a bunch of racists white folks who disapprove POTUS skin color. Bachmann is a bad rubbish we need to get rid of in Washington.

The Environment of the Tea Party:

Everybody of 50, when their children leave college, sell your house.

This will be commonsense if the Tea Party gets their way; I will challenge you to a spreadsheet duel if you do not believe me. This you can understand that a spreadsheet is facts and figures not ideology.

"However, I'd like to see this woman fall into a deep hole and never be seen again..."

As would I. She'll not go down into history as one of Minnesota's finest politicians, that's for sure. I know. I know. Small consolation.

She's said she'd like to put her hands on the POTUS? The woman needs a visit from the Secret Service. She should be sent to a secret CIA site and interrogated. Review her tax returns, telephone, email and snail mail. She sounds like a dangerous domestic terrorist.

She is a perfect example of why the congress can't do anything or want to do anything. And yet....they are all getting paid great salaries with great benefits for doing nothing. How many of us could get away with that. These GOP/Tea Party "politicians" need to go. They cling to their rigid old fashioned ideology and try to push it down the throats of Americans but most Americans aren't buying what they are selling. Only uneducated gullible people, their base, are hanging on to this hateful racist idea of what America should be.
