Bachmann wants to 'spank' Obama

(CNN) – She tried to run against President Barack Obama as last year's GOP nominee.

But with that dream dashed, Rep. Michele Bachmann has another idea.

"He has a perpetual magic wand, and nobody's given him a spanking yet and taken it out of his hand," the Minnesota Republican told WorldNetDaily. "That's what Congress needs to do. The way we spank the president is we do it through the checkbook."

She was speaking to the conservative website about the ongoing battle over comprehensive immigration reform. The "magic wand" she refers to is the power to implement executive actions, like the one taken by Obama last year to defer deportations of young undocumented immigrants who were brought here by their parents.

A bipartisan immigration reform bill passed the Senate last month that included a pathway to citizenship, which many Republicans, including Bachmann, regard as "amnesty."

As the push for immigration reform slows in the House, Bachmann warned fellow opponents of a pathway to citizenship that resistance in the lower chamber may not hold up under pressure from GOP leaders who she said were sold on an "amnesty bill."

"The only game in town is legalization, for President Obama and for Senate Democrats. They want that legalization status," Bachmann, who will not run for re-election in 2014, said.

She suggested using Congress' ability to allocate funds to reject Obama's priorities, including the Affordable Care Act.

"We have the power of the purse," she said. "The most powerful body in Washington D.C. is the House of Representatives, which I'm honored to be a part. We're the ones that say, 'No, you can't have the money.' What's wrong with us? What is wrong with us that we would give the president ten cents to fund Obamacare?"

Thats why majority of Hispanics voted against GOP and they always will. GOP dislikes minorities and that includes women. GOP is the most irrational party. We should vote them all out of the House and Senate and replace them with Liberatarians.

Actually Bachmann – you've all done a good job at trying to prevent anything from being done out of your petty indifference to the man in office. If you all grew up, changed your big girl diapers, the country might actually get somewhere.

Is this woman as big of an idiot as she sounds like? It's hard to believe how really, really stupid and self-serving she is. Her ego is bigger than life. Hopefully, soon she will be out of Congress. Of course, like a Sarah Palin she will do and say anything to keep her name in the news.

Bachmann is clearly out of control. Potentially this statement could be construed as a threat of violence against the President. It is clearly that Ms. Bachmann is mentally unstable and should be treated as such. Bachmann and Palin are shining examples of why folks are leaving the GOP, in droves. The GOP needs to distance themselves from the extremists, the Tea Party types. and the mentally unstable that have taken control of the GOP.

Congress seems to have plenty of money for arms to Syria, AIDS treatments for Africans, imprisoning marijuana users, reconstruction of Iraq and Afganistan, subsidies to oil companies, and corporate tax breaks. But food for needy Americans, and healthcare to the uninsured, no money for that.

  20. The Obvious

What's wrong with them, she asks? Isn't it blatantly clear and obvious that what's wrong with Republicans like her and her clan and their way of thinking is that they would Take Away what belongs to Americans, that is funded through the very tax dollars those taxpayers have paid, and would leave Americans holding their front with one hand and their rear with the other. That's what's wrong, but it's the CONServative way voters of America! And a very good reason to Vote Them Out Next Election!

Bachmann is a failure. Her career in Congress had nothing of merit in terms of accomplishments and Bachmann leaves office in disgrace.
