Tweet of the Day: Romney has another grandbaby

(CNN) - While the world's eye was on the royal baby Monday, plenty of other children came into the world, including Mitt Romney's latest grandchild–also a boy. "#22," he notes in his tweet.

In a nod to Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Romney said his family is also "royally blessed."

The new Romney baby belongs to Romney's son, Josh, and his wife Jen. In February, Craig Romney and his wife, Mary, had twins.

Romney has five sons.

I'm happy for the Romneys' and for the fact that they are enjoying this new baby as private citizens!

If only, every child in America had the same opportunities in life as his newest grandchild will have....

Well if their families led a good clean life and worked hard and saved then they just might. Oh yeah, and they didn't sit around and complain and expected the government to give them stuff because it just ain't fair others have things they don't.

    That's just great.

Another member of the Romney clan, ready to be indoctrinated into an absurd cult, financed by Grandpa's slick offshore tax shelter.

For those who think Pres. Obama is doing a great job: the unemployment rate is at 7.6% – exactly where it was when he took office, except almost 20% of jobs are now in the Temp industry – no benefits, little chance of turning into regular jobs with good pay; the Stock market has done great, but almost entirely because the Fed has pumped a boatload of money into the economy, when they ease back, the market will too. Benghazi shows a detached president (absent during the crisis) and perhaps a coverup; the IRS investigation gets ever closer to the WH; going after reporters is more than unethical. A president's job is to get things done, but Pres. Obama does not know how to negotiate, though he is a great campaigner. Bill Clinton was right: Obama does not know how to be president. For those of you patting yourselves on the back for voting for Obama, the pat needs to be a kick about 2 feet lower. Romney would have been a much better president – a great guy with the skills that we need now and which President Obama simply does not have.

Look at all the progressive tolerance and objective commentary sprayed all over this page.

As is always the case, the hypocrisy is simply deafening.

Millions of people did that during the last decade. Some wound up unemployed. Some wound up homeless. Some had their retirement nest eggs raided. And then some blame all of it on the next guy to win the White House.

"Look at all the progressive tolerance and objective commentary sprayed all over this page."

Why should we tolerate the MSM shoving in our faces something that really just amounts to the objectively meaningless life events in the family of a person who wrote off 47% of the country as if they are all nothing more than uppity serfs who need to learn to accept their lowly station in life?

As soon as you can answer that with something other than trite "I know you are but what am I" playground banter, you let me know and I'll promptly retract my statements and laud the birth of yet another person I do not have any relation to and couldn't care less about.

  17. Yet another Romney who will not serve in uniform

Neither Willards father, grandfather, Willard himself or any of his 5 able bodied sons have ever served in the military. To think this clown wanted to be Commander In Chief. Not one person in Willards family tree have ever put the US ahead of themselves. Just go away Willard.

Ask the British what they think of Mitt Romney. They laughed at him last summer. Don't you get it? Don't you understand why the economy is structured the way it is right now? Do you serously believe that all of these changes suddenly came about, overnight, as a result of one man being elected POTUS? Have you ever heard of the phrase "pre-existing conditions"?

Did you know that 8 million manufacturing jobs disappeared during the Bush years? Did you know that 50,000 manufacturing sites with 100+ employees were closed during that same time frame? Do you know who pioneered and specialized in the type of vulture capitalism that led to the outsourcing of so many American jobs?

Did you know that another name for "trickle down economis" is "boom and bust economics"? Why would they name it that?

Romney lost the election you can stop now!

Try telling that to the entire Republican party. You wouldn't dare because they'd call you a RINO and kick you out.

It's sad how small people are in this country when they hate others for being financially successful. It's entirely possible for anyone in this country with a work ethic to earn enough for a place to live and enough food to feed their family. So what if some people get a few extra perks because of hard work or good luck?

Because you see, Robert, everyone deserves a starting salary of $50K, everyone deserves free healthcare, everyone deserves a free college education... heck, every kid in little league deserves a trophy even if their team comes in dead last. No one is allowed to advance higher than anyone else in the collective. We wouldn't want anyone to feel "less than", now would we?

Stop the comments everyone. We have yet to hear from Sarah Palin on either the Royal birth or the Royal birth. One really is a Royal birth, the other is just Romney bragging that he has yet another faithful follower into his kingdom and probably will celebrate by closing a factory throwing hundreds out of work
