NH Dems fundraise off anti-Hillary Clinton effort

(CNN) – The New Hampshire Democratic Party condemned an online game made by an anti-Hillary Clinton group that allows viewers to virtually slap the former secretary of state across the face.

In a fundraising email, the state Democratic Party called on elected leaders Tuesday to tell the group, which is also based in New Hampshire, that it "has no place" in the Granite State.

"For many years, New Hampshire Democratic women have broken glass ceiling after glass ceiling and now a Republican Super PAC is trying to stop them," the email stated.

The group called The Hillary Project aims to "wage a war" on Clinton's image should she decide to run for president in 2016, according to its website. One of its tactics includes a section labeled "games" on its website, where the "Slap Hillary" game lives.

After listening to audio clips from Clinton, the user can slap an animated version of Clinton by clicking on a "Slap Hillary" button. The game has been used in the past to target Clinton.

Also featured on the website are games where users can make a cartoon Clinton dance "funky" moves or get in a fist fight with President Barack Obama.

The New Hampshire Democratic Party was quick Tuesday to remind readers that Clinton was the first woman to win the state's Democratic primary in 2008. The state also has the first and only all-female Congressional delegation, as well as two female senators and a female governor.

"While we have made great strides in our state, Super PACs like this join the embarrassing list of New Hampshire Republicans working to turn back the progress we've made," the email states.

A women's rights group, UltraViolet, also condemned the interactive game Tuesday.

"It's disgusting, it's outrageous and–regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum–it has no place in our politics," the group said in an email.

The Teapublicans were actively courting the youth vote. Now it appears 12 year olds boys are running their party in New Hampshire. Be careful what you ask for.

The party of family values strikes again. A game that allows people to slap Hillary Clinton. Just when I thought they couldn't get any lower, they go and prove me wrong.

I don't know about Hillary but I don't react well to bullying and intimidation, just makes me dig my heels in deeper. This would decide it for me, I would run!!

Slapping the former SOS across the face is seen as a positive thing to do in GOPerville?

    Why. Am. I. Not. Surprised.

The more the GOP attacks her, the stronger her support becomes. If she does in fact become the next president, the pubbers will have no one to blame but themselves.

Well, you do have to wonder whether all the conservative vitriol against Hillary Clinton will have the opposite effect. It's one thing to attack her on issues, but the meanness turns a lot of people off. Once again the Republicans seem to be forgetting you need more votes than just ultra-conservative wackos to win a national election. Do Republicans realize women can vote now? Kinda tough to win an election with that demographic ticked off at you.

Hillary has the nomination and election sewn up if she chooses to run. The big challenge is getting all the contented Democrats off their butts and vote in the Mid Term Elections. We have to clean the house and senate of these right wing monsters!

I like how the right wacko's on this blog bring up Benghazi whenever Hillary's name is mentioned. I hate to give the GOP facts, I am not sure of the exact number, but 12 or so embassies were attacked under the last admin. total 50+ deaths. So GOP, are you telling me these four Benghazi deaths are more important than the other 50 that died under the previous Admin? GOP are just hypocrites.

Good one Rick McDaniel, a lot of depth there! I'm sure you saw Hillary leave her post that night in Libya, so she is definitely guilty of that, but what else has she done that's so disturbing? If you need to watch Fox tonight first to get you answers, you can respond tomorrow. Just wondering if you can come up with anything.
