Washington (CNN) - Cory Booker already had a national identity before he decided to run for senator.
The media-savvy, tweet-happy mayor from Newark - who easily won the New Jersey Democratic primary for Senate Tuesday - has been known for his man-of-the-people streak, charismatic presence and social media intensity, or as some say, fixation.
I doubt that he will anything positive for America. He represents a minority and not all of the people.
He will change for sure. You don't put good apples and bad ones together and expect nothing will change.
Why????? --because he is black???? Nonsense. Know you are in 21st century–not 2nd.
No, Booker is not like Elizabeth Warren. Warren's a liberal, for one thing. For another, she takes her job seriously, so, yeah, she shies from the media limelight. She's too busy actually working for her constituents, rather than Tweeting at them.
Color me unthrilled with the media's latest Blue Dog fave.
All CNN headlines are a slow pitch for the right wing nut jobs.yet they still complain that they are Obama's puppets.just not enough time in a day to hate for these fools
He might give some spirited debates and speeches, but there isn't going to be a huge change because he would only be one of 100 and the one with least seniority.
What? No he's not – he's a Democrat!
Hopefully not but briefcases full of lobbist cash could be cause for pause! I was not aware he won that seat. Did I miss something? If I was a bettin' man, my money would be on Booker BUT that has not happened yet! How about he win first and then we plan the parade!
So the point of this article is Booker is too, um, uppity? I don't see CNN complaining about white Republicans who seek publicity. Every time Sarah Palin does anything CNN falls all over itself to run the story. This whole story seems biased to me.
He hasn't even won the Democrat primary let alone the election and CNN is crowning him with a Senate position??? Trying to paint him as the inevitable winner CNN??? Here's an idea, try reports news events, not speculation.
