Obama says U.S. 'deplores' Egyptian violence

(CNN) – President Obama said Thursday the United States "deplores" the violence against civilians in the recent Egyptian military crackdown against protests in Cairo.

He said the United States believes the Egyptian government's "state of emergency should be lifted" and a process of reconciliation must begin.

He also announced the cancellation of Bright Star - next month's joint U.S.-Egyptian military exercise.

Why doesn't he make a statement about the injustices in this country, not just of the one case but the others that involve victims of other races. Keep your mind on your country Mr. President, it's falling apart!

It was US meddling in the affairs of Egypt that started the whole mess in the first place. People are dying there. Lives are disrupted. What is wrong with letting Egyptians sort out things for themselves. Obama should shut up and concern himself with the ruining his own country.
and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

And they your ilk will be outraged that he's not looking out for "America's interests abroad". Face it, as far as your ilk is concerned, he's danged if he does/danged if he doesn't.

Wait! Let me guess? Nailing civilians with drones? NSA helping the Egyptian military? Rounding up citizens and stuffing them in the gulag? I guess "helping the Middle Class" just means killing or enslaving them faster...

Maybe if our government wasn't spending so much time on Middle East problems, our stock market wouldn't be down over a hundred points today, our towns wouldn't go bankrupt, 70% of Americans wouldn't be living paycheck to paycheck!

Focus on America, Mr. Obama – You cannot help monkeysss in the Middle East come out of the stone age nor shouldn't you. I don't see any other country be so vested in that region. Let them help themselves, no one ever helped us either.

Vacation? My ability to take vacation has reduced, my pay has stayed the same year over year, and the President and congress are taking more vacation time than they already have this year?

Once "we" do, we're off the hook for providing financial assistance, which IMO is a good thing. But then your ilk will be outraged that he's not looking out for "America's interests abroad". Face it, as far as your ilk is concerned, he's danged if he does/danged if he doesn't.

LOL . . So, he's going to "make a statement" huh ? WoW, well, ok . . . Anyone with 1/2 a brain will know pretty much what he's going to say . . . What's the big deal about that ? Too bad, I guess they all have flaws, incl. Obama. Can I give you My Opinion, CNN ? If we had a somebody in there with some guts, he wouldn't give Billions to a country who is practically self destructing, and has no true leadership. But, what the heck do I know ? I'm Just a taxpayer, paying taxes, so we can send Billions to Egypt, the karzide government, in addition to our money going to 3rd world countries, which are constantly in turmoil. I guess that's the way it is, now days . . . Help the other countries, and let the people in the good 'ol U.S. either barely make it, and/or without a Job. . . pitiful I tell ya, Just pitiful . . .
