Missile strikes on Syria likely response to chemical attack

Washington (CNN) - Few question that there was a major chemical attack in Syria last week, and the United States has made clear that it blames the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Now, the question is how President Barack Obama will respond.

I think missle strikes would be a really bad idea, especially with the Russians backing Assad. Just what targets do you plan to hit? You know that if you try to blow up a suspected weapons plant, or anything else for that matter, the Syrian government is going to make it look like civilians were mistakenly hit and killed by the dozens.

Who are we striking? Assad, the al Qaida, or some other terrorist group? Do we know for sure who used the chemicals? McCain has been promising another war, and we will have to pay for it by shutting down the government.

As a Peace prize winner, Obama is sure racking up a lot of bombs and bodies. He has already set a drone kill record.
And how has his dramatic not-so-new approach reduced the terrorist threat, as promised?
    Here we go again...
    Same ol' same ol'.

The UN weapons inspectors had their vehicle shot at. I think someone is trying to escalate the conflict in Syria. We really do not know who used chemical weapons in the Syrian attack. It is just as likely that Assad used them as it was that a some outside group used them to make it look like the Syrian government was behind it.

I find your humor on this topic to be out of bounds. If true, kids and babies lost their lives or were severely injured.
