Trump defends his school, prosecutor calls it 'a scam'

New York (CNNMoney) - Donald Trump's real estate school is under attack by New York's top prosecutor, and both sides took to the airwaves Monday to elaborate on the upcoming legal battle.

During separate interviews on CNN's "New Day," New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called the school a "bait-and-switch scheme," and Trump accused the prosecutor of actions akin to extortion.

There are countless for-profit "colleges" without accreditation operating all over the country, but their grifts tend to be more subtle. They also tend to be cheaper, thusly avoiding the attention of eager district attorneys. Wow.
, Trump's not all that bright, is he?

A free seminar leads to a $1495 weekend, leads to a $35,000 course, sure sounds like a Bernie Madoff scam. Donald is such a devious huckster and snake oil salesman.

Well that's a stretch. Imagine what he's be like if he'd not defended his school. He could have set a president of telling the truth, and everyone knows that would have been a complete disaster. His entire house of cards could have tumbled to the ground, and no one would have cared except him.

Of course it's a scam, just like Trump the chump himself. So Mr. Birther in chief....why so quiet about Ted Cruz?? And what happened to your big reveal prior to the election??

    We're waiting......

The NY AG has been several for-profit groups that refer to themselves as "academic institutions", the largest of which has Trump's name on it. These institutions will typically have no recognized academic accreditation.

In the case of "Trump University", you do not attend classes. You attend seminiars, each of which encourages you to attend other seminars. Many attendees attest that their seminars were informative, while others feel that they were misled as to the rewards and benefits of enrolling in a seminar. Trump's biggest problem, and likely to central to the AG's case, are the guaranteed benefits that they advertise in writing.

What does Trump have to offer in terms of insights and knowledge, besides how to decalre bankruptcy and how to cheat unsuccessfully on your wife/wives? Nothing. He produces nothing of value.

Donald Trump might have defended his school, BUT that is not what is supposed to be done now. If there is dispute between two different parties, it is only the court which clears out everything. Trump coming on the air and trying to clear up the differences, doesn't help anyone at all. Donald, get prepared to go to the Court. That is the only place which you might be held or may be thrown to somewhere , where those who break laws belong.

People had to be crazy to even think that this man could teach you about business. He inherited his money, filed bankruptcy about 10 times and the government bailed him out, cheats on all his wives. Get a grip people and stop listening to the BS coming from this fraud. And to think he wants to run for president.? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. Even the instructors are not accredited. I gather that you get to have a face-to-face and handshake with Trump himself, but according to witness accounts they don't even deliver on that. They promise this, but deliver that. It seems to be a classic bait and switch, which is highly illegal within the State of New York and prosecuted with vigor.

Another Democrat using his political office to attack and harrass a political opponent. Democrats are making a habit of this lately. Will YOU be next?

Only solution: Stop voting for leftist Democrats that use the power of government against their political adversaries. They are quickly turnin gthis country into the old Soviet Union.
