Trump defends his school, prosecutor calls it 'a scam'

New York (CNNMoney) - Donald Trump's real estate school is under attack by New York's top prosecutor, and both sides took to the airwaves Monday to elaborate on the upcoming legal battle.

During separate interviews on CNN's "New Day," New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called the school a "bait-and-switch scheme," and Trump accused the prosecutor of actions akin to extortion.

The Fair that I knew once wrote that Trump would make an excellent POTUS because of his business experience. Judging by your gloving past endorsements, Trump articles most likely belong in the political pages. Besides, the political papparazzi are probably following him around to get his opinion on Ted "Natrual Born Canadian" Cruz.

why is this a civil suit??? if these people feel they were taken, why are they not filing the civil suit? you mean there aren't any private lawyers that would take up this cause? why is the government doing this? so is this democrat attorney general going after others? or is his target list just things like this associated with a well known and high profile republican?

yes, this doesn't smell and look like abuse of the office of attorney general. of course, nobody can investigate them right? i think trump should counter sue and reveal government documents through discovery.

I'll admit I did say that for Mitt Romney (and I still believe that), but the Fair you think you knew never spoke of Donald Trump in that way. But hey... if it cures your hangover...

Yes, that will go over swimmingly as a defense. I would love to see him try to manufacture a conspiracy theory circus as his defense while the AG's office efficiently goes about proving that he's defrauding folks. That'll work super well. Not.

BTW, your tinfoil hat is showing...again...

Trump is a scam. His core competency is self-promotion. He makes money convincing people he's intellegent and important. Neither is all that true.

You might be right. BUT it is not us, it is the law which will nail Trump down. I hope you are aware: No one is above the law! it also includes Donald Trump as well!

Seriously? Have you noticed how many seperate investigations have been conducted by House Republicans? At one point, there was as many as seven looking into Benghazi alone. They've nothing but conduct hearing into everything but the kitchen sink in the White House.

You were blowing Trump's horn long and loud, months before Romney officially entered the race in June, when almost no one had announced. Back when the question of whether or not Trump would ebter the race was actually given serious consideration by some on the right. Trump's experience was better than anything Bachmann had to offer. He was actually leading the early polls at the time among Republicans..
