In Weiner's final days, more a curiosity than a candidate

New York (CNN) – Anthony Weiner was running almost an hour late for his final campaign appearance of the weekend, two days before he faces all-but-certain political doom in Tuesday's Democratic primary for New York mayor.

There was a "child care mixup" at home, an aide said. Weiner had to peel off the campaign trail and hustle back to his Park Avenue residence to pick up his 20-month-old son, Jordan. Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, has been absent from his side for weeks.

Why is it that the media refuses to report on his policies. He actually does have really good ideas for NYC.

Weiner dropped significantly in the polls on two occasions. First, when he admitted to more, uh, "stuff". Second, when he announced some of his policy ideas. One idea that he particularly proud of was IMHO actually pretty bad. He wants to require new constructions and renovations over 25,000(?) sq. ft.[ approx. a square, 160 ft/side ] to provide free wifi. When you start adding up the square footage of multiple floors in a high rise, then you pass the target size very quickly.

Consider that impact that would have on condos and apartment buildings....and the resulting loss of business to internet providers.

At least he is taking care of his kid directly.

I think that it just might be better for the kid if he were paying child support.
