Obama: 'Breakthrough' is possible on Syria

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Russia's proposal for Syria to surrender its chemical weapons to international control was a "potentially positive development," but could be a stall tactic, President Barack Obama told CNN on Monday.

"We're going to run this to ground," Obama said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, adding that the United States will work with Syrian ally Russia and the international community "to see if we can arrive at something that is enforceable and serious."

The line for right wingnuts to sign up for anger management classes is getting larger with each positive development in Syria.

Oh noes! If this comes to fruition, what will the haters do???!!! Heaven knows they've given themselves whiplash and a wicked case of motion sickness trying to stay on what they perceive to be the opposite side of President Obama before he even has a chance to weigh an issue and take a position!

Who are you kidding? Really? You are nothing but war lords! You killed 1,500,000 million in Iraq with exactly the same claim...Now, how many Syrians are you planning to kill to redraw the map of the region?

Do we have UN approval? How about our allies, are they on board with this? Seems like the side that was wailing about Bush's cowboy go it alone (even though he had un approval and support of allies) are suddenly quiet about Obama's even more go it alone policy. Most Repubs that I know do acknowledge that Bush was a failure and are not mum on it. It is only on the left that tongues remain quiet in the face of incompetence from their politicians. How badly does this guy have to mess things up before he gets called out. I
