Pelosi: Hillary Clinton more ready for WH than husband or Obama was

Washington (CNN) – House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi continued to offer effusive praise for Hillary Clinton, saying the former secretary of state would be one of the best-prepared incoming presidents if she decided to run in 2016.

"If she does, she will win and when she becomes president, she'll be one of the best-equipped, best-prepared people to enter the White House in a very long time," Pelosi said in an interview that aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."

Noting Clinton's experience as secretary of state, as a U.S. senator from New York and as a first lady, Pelosi said Clinton would be "more prepared than President Obama; certainly more prepared than President Bush; certainly more prepared than President Clinton I might admit."

Asked by CNN's chief political correspondent Candy Crowley if Clinton would be more prepared than Vice President Joe Biden, Pelosi said Biden is also "very prepared."

"And I think President Bush Sr. was prepared. He was - had been a vice president," she said. "But I'm talking about recent memory of presidents that we have had."

Like Clinton, Biden has not ruled out another presidential run. His trips to Iowa and South Carolina in the last week added fire to the speculation.

But would Pelosi prefer Clinton or Biden?

"You know what, when they just announce that they're running, I'll let you know," she said.

"I always have had a habit of saying when you're serious about running, I'll be serious about it," she added. "But I think it would be magnificent for America to have a woman president. I think it would be just wonderful."

A poll released by CNN/ORC International released last week indicated Clinton would have 65% support among Democrats, with Biden a distant second at 10%, in a potential Democratic primary.

Pelosi herself is ready for a mental institution.
Hildy should testify under oath about Benghazi.

Really. Like, as Sec. of State, she was prepared for Bengazi. The only thing Hillary has showed us is she is prepared to go to any means to distort the truth as long as it serves her purpose. As leader of the State department, her only defense is "What difference does it make?!" That's not leadership. She owes the American public an apology for the willful deception she was a part of immediately following Bengazi. We still do not have the truth and nobody is being punished for this attack on the United States. But hey, Obama made it to his Vegas fundraiser 3 hours later and the election was won.

Even more Nancy we-have-to-pass-it-to-find-out-what-it-says Pelosi nonsense. Hillary has indeed benefitted from Affirmative Action. Her resume of accomplishments is slim and shallow. She had no accomplishments as a carpetbagging Senator. Her legal career is notable mostly for her scandals and her lack of integrity and vindictiveness. As Secretary of State she was an utter failure. She was trusted to go to women's conferences. Bengazi anyone? You know, where she lied her pantsuit off, and then got enraged and said that it didn't matter when called on it. Frankly, other than affirmative action, there is no other explanation for her jobs. She is nothing more than a political celebrity – without accomplishments. So, of course, Nancy Pelosi loves her.

Nancy pelosi really needs to shut her pie hole, Every time she opens her mouth she does as much damage to her party as john mccain does to his. If we can't come up with someone other than hillary clinton out of the 300,000,000 people living here, we are in deep doo doo.

"Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat. Women often have to flee from the only homes they have ever known. Women are often the refugees from conflict and sometimes, more frequently in today’s warfare, victims. Women are often left with the responsibility, alone, of raising the children." - Hillary Clinton, PBS interview, 10/25/2011

    Apparently men dying inconveniences women.

"Strike a woman and you strike all of society." - Hillary Clinton, The Punch, 2011

    Striking men is OK though.

Very plain to see from the fangs and venom depicted here that Righties realize that Hillary will wipe the floor with the clowns that Republicans plan to put forward: Cruz, Christie, Jindal, Walker, Rubio, Paul. Laughable. Prepare yourselves for 8 years of Hillary!!!

Wasn't Hillary one of the first to bring up that Obama may not be a US citizen? Hard to believe anyone could be worse than Obama, but she just might be the one.

Hillary was much more "prepared" than Obama in the 2008 primary when Pelosi threw her under the, maybe she should qualify that with "super, duper prepared" now.

Btw, Bush Sr was also CIA Director in addition to be VP...

Benghazi? Terrible that 4 Americans died. But I don't remember Righties being upset about GWBush sending over 4,500 brave Americans needlessly to their deaths in Iraq–fighting a sham war based on lies! What is that sound? Oh, crickets...

Hillary should be tried for treason and hanged. She is an accomplished liar but that isn't a prerequisite for being President. She is responsible for sending arms to Syria and letting 4 Americans die in Benghazi, but what does it matter? Well, it matters to me.

Oh yeah- a recommendation from Skeletore! One of the most clueless, Kool-Aid drinking liberal from the Land of the Lost. I still think she needs electroshock therapy just for her track record up to now. Hillary can't seriously think this is a good thing for her future...

I see from some of the comments that the lefties are willing to sweep any and every fault under the rug as long as one of their side wins election. Well, keep your heads in your backside and elect Hilary and watch this once great nation continue it's slide to third world nation status.
