Romney stepping up for GOP in Virginia

Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney is headlining a fundraiser for Ken Cuccinelli Wednesday in McLean, Virginia.

Cuccinelli, the Commonwealth's attorney general, is the Republican nominee in this November's Virginia gubernatorial election.

"Ken is grateful to have Governor Romney's support," Richard T. Cullen, communications director for the Cuccinelli campaign, said in a statement to CNN. "He's looking forward to sharing ideas with the governor on how to grow Virginia's economy and implement his plan to create 58,000 jobs."

The campaign did not release details of how much money was expected to be raised or who would attend the event.

The 2012 Republican presidential nominee headlined a New Hampshire Republican Party dinner and fundraiser last month. It was the first time Romney attended a political fundraiser since he lost last November's presidential election.

    "58,000 jobs"

Tip for Cuccinnelli: round up. 58,000 sounds weird. Say 60,000.

Can we PLEASE stop this lunacy of LYING about Governors of State A CREATING jobs? This is independent of Republican or Democratic Governors. All governors do is STEAL JOBS from tSate B; They create NOTHING. Furthermore, this stealing skill is not relevant at the Ptrewsidential level. 2016 will be much cleaner i we blacklist this lie now. Even at Bain, Romney didn't CREATE job. Entreprenuers wqith business ideas like IPADS, Iphones, Tesla, Five Guys, eHarmoney, etc.. CREATED jobs; not the bundler of investment money who only selected 1 deal out of ever 500 he considered. If Romney wanted to do the GOP some good, heJd support ObamaCare but make recommendations to improve it's efficacy. d

Before Cuccinelli starts promising JOBS! JOBS! JOBS! he ought to first get with Scott Walker (WI). Well, the Koch brothers too. Walker - via the Koch's talking points - made similar promises. Neither Walker nor the Koch's delivered.

It's a tough job being a multi-billionaire talking mouth piece. All fluff, no substance.

What a pathetic joke. Romney organizing a fundraiser? Why doesn't he just pull out his fat check book and write Mr Cuccinelli a blank cheque if he feels so passionately about it? This guy is a sore loser as we saw with his b!tchy attacks on Obama "buying" votes and claiming the election lose was not his fault. Not a graceful loser, and one can only imagine he would not have been a graceful winner either.

Why stop at 58,000 jobs? I thought the GOP had the ability to create an infinite number of jobs, based upon their passion for gutting regs, eliminating full time jobs in favor of part-time, not bothering to invest in education or infrastructure, etc: besides, all the benefits go to the Ayn Rand aristocracy class, since they know what is good for us. Always remember, corporations are people, too, and the trees are higher in Michigan.

    Romney,
An American Success story. Maybe the last of a Vanishing Breed. I hear Business after Business is dumping their Health Care plan for their employees for what? "Putin Care" !! Soon there will be another LOGAN'S RUN where people will ask, What's A Job? Well sonny once people had pride in themselves and worked and were successful. Today we all work for China.

If anyone in Cucicnnelli's campaign has half a brain, they would tell Romney to stay away. Only a reminder of what happened last fall.
