Care is different than "Insurance", and I stand fast that "Insurance" is not a need. It will also be much more expensive then you will think. Go ahead and shun me and say I am a stupid RWNJ, but there is a reason or 5 that Romneycare (which ACA practically is) was not implented, and Mitt also denounced it. He realized it, and so did the rest of his state. Why can't the rest of us?

I don't evenknow what to say
Things must have reached a really, REALLY bad juncture when CNN has decided to state FACTS and dispell myths in a responsible way.
The expression " A day late and a dollar short" keeps popping into my mind, along with the phrase "guilt complex".
    Now I 'M scared.

President states," if you like your health care, you can keep it." But left out : premiums will be higher, deductions will be higher, and co-pays will be higher. Obama care is a farce, no wonder 51% of Americans that can/have healthcare done want Obama Care. Those who didn't read the bill, but passed it and the President sign it. The Supreme Court stated it was considered a TAX, so it was constitutional. Those on the HILL opt out of Obama Care, only those considered stupid by Congress ( American taxpayers) have to abide by it.

FACT! - any slight increases in yearly costs are mitigated by better coverage!

You know one positive aspect of ACA ? It may promote social/economic responsibility to young Americans. Normally a Repub. bedrock principal(except when it's their kids), but stick Obama's name on it & it's a Govt. Takeover. Can you imagine the hue & cry by the Insurance Industry IF the Gov. tried to take over Health Care(Medicare/Medicaid for everyone) . It's a trillion dollar industry; they don't give up their money easily.

Given that jobs young people generally get are at places that keep them part-time, and/or offer little or no healthcare, they'll be entering that market (at age 27 thanks to the ACA) for the first time- yes, they'll be "paying more"- but because it will e far, far less, and with more choices, they're apt to get very good deals than what they would have a year ago.

Also, sticker prices on the Obamacare plans are not what most young adults will actually pay, Blumberg said. Single people earning less than $46,000 will be eligible for federal subsidies to defray premium costs. The size of the subsidy is based on age, income and residence.
    --

the us taxpayers are sibsidizing the health insurance costs for a single person making $46,000 a year???!!!! that is totally insane!!! and what are these age and residence qualifications? are people in the city going to get more than people in rural areas? are older people going to get more than younger people?

talk about a formula to keep people on the governemnt gravy train. that is all obamacare is really about. making government welfare acceptable for everybody.
