(CNN) – Democrat Cory Booker's U.S. Senate campaign says raised $2.85 million in the last two months, bringing the Newark, New Jersey mayor's total to $11.5 million since January. The Booker campaign is reporting $2.63 million cash on hand.
The campaign of New Jersey Senate Republican nominee Steve Lonegan tells CNN it brought in over a million dollars during that same time period, and has $241,000 in the bank.
The campaign cash news comes with just two weeks to go until the special Senate election in the Garden State.
Lonegan, in the face of a new negative TV ad from Booker, spoke yesterday alongside Texas Governor Rick Perry about gaining momentum on Booker in the closing weeks of the campaign.
The two most recent polls in the race indicated Booker holding 12 and 13 point leads over Lonegan, the former mayor of the northern New Jersey town of Bogota. Booker held larger leads in previous polling. The winner of the October 16 contest will fill the remainder of the term of the late Democratic Sen. Frank Lautenberg.
We need more Democrats and less domestic terrorists aka teatards and repugs who have lost their way or why they came to DC.
Booker could be that low life with no campaign money. GOP and their buddies the tea party are toast in 2014.
I sure wish he was running for governor of NJ

OK, Let's pile on like the GOP loves to do. GO CORY! By the way, I'm in NJ and I VOTE!
