Government shutdown: Navy-Air Force football game on; others in limbo

(CNN) – Are you ready for some football? Not so fast!

The Navy-Air Force and the Boston -Army games are on. But there's no word yet on whether 23 other weekend athletic events at service academies will take place, thanks to the government shutdown.

    Rep. Bachmann said, "We've finally gotten what we've wanted." when asked about the shutdown. She is obviously pleased by the government shutdown. Next in the Tea Party's sights will be not raising the debt ceiling.

    Yeah, college football trumps the other sporting events in huge way. Money. Im glad Sec. of D. moved forward on these games. Should be a couple of good ones.
