Did Hillary take a swipe at Biden?

Washington (CNN) – Did Hillary Clinton take a 2016 detour on her supposedly non-political paid speaking circuit?

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday that Clinton, during her latest paid speaking gig to the National Association of Convenience Stores, spent nearly half an hour discussing the story behind the 2011 Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan, specifically highlighting Vice President Joe Biden's opposition to the mission.

Clinton, the former Secretary of State who could square off against Biden for the Democratic nomination in 2016, stressed that she backed the raid, while Biden did not.

Georgia state Rep. Tom Taylor, who was in the room Tuesday for the Atlanta speech, recounted the tidbit to the Journal-Constitution.

"I know she's running for president now, because toward the end, she was asked about the Osama bin Laden raid. She took 25 minutes to answer," the Republican state lawmaker said, according to the paper. "Without turning the knife too deeply, she put it to Biden."

But a spokesman for the convenience store group who was in the audience said that account was misleading.

"There are a lot of problems with that story," said Jeff Lenard, a NACS spokesman. "I don't think anybody in the audience came away with that perception or recollection of the speech. It's not an accurate portrayal of what happened yesterday"

Nevertheless, America Rising PAC, a Republican group tracking Clinton's every move, flagged the comments for reporters yesterday, circulating them in an email titled, "Shots Fired: Clinton Attacks Biden Over Bin Laden Raid."

Audience members were forbidden from taking photographs and recording audio or video of the event, a standing policy at each of her speeches to industry groups. Journalists were not allowed to cover the speech.

Clinton is paid a reported $200,000 for her speaking appearances.

Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States, and she will be an excellant choice of the American people.

That '47% will vote for Clinton no matter what' has now risen to '65% will vote for Clinton no matter what'.

Both Al Queda and all Democrats offer a serious Thank You to the Tea Billies Cruz and Paul and Ryan for commiting suicide.

Thank you Republicans. Democrats will dominate the House, the Senate, the White House and the Supreme Court for many many years to come.

This story would have been better titled, "Tweedledum takes swipe at Tweedledee."

I was there in the audience and in no way was she snide or critical of Biden or anyone else in her account of the Bin Laden raid. I might also add that she had quite a few common-sense things to say about the mess we are in. And mike please don't start that crap already . . . don't you suppose that the group that paid her speaking fee (NACS/PEI) might want to have and definitely deserves to have – at $200,000 – control over ALL the audio & video from the event (Ms. Clinton was not the only speaker).

"""The GOP's best shot is Christie. If he doesn't get the nomination they might as well hang it up"""
Answer : I agree, at least he's more of a moderate than ANY of the others...

I said Cruz "might" be the one, in 2016, he doesn't have anything in the bag yet.
By that time, people might be so sick of Obama, they will (or "might" ) do like they once done in Minnesota.
(remember 'ol Jesse ventura ? )
In other words, they will end up voting for Anybody, but a Democrat, no matter who it is. It all depends on how the voters feel at the time...

So shat is she hiding that she does not allow journalists to cover the speeches or let people take recordings? Guess this way no one can use her words against her when you catch her in a lie?
    ----------------
Not so. If a journalist wants to cough up the Duckets for a dinner plate, then they can attend. As far as allowing recordings go, LOL Do professional singers and musicians allow independent and unsanctioned recordings to be made of their performances? Nope.

I expect Vice President Biden to run - even if he is in it just to have fun. I think, more or less, though, he would make a great Secretary Of State. He is a fine Vice President, but I really do believe he would be just as great as Clinton - because we must not forget that foreign policy has been the hallmark of his career. He doesn't do much of that now as Vice President.

I could see myself possibly voting for Biden, depending on who the Republican nominee was. No way on God's green Earth I'd vote for Clinton.

But 'ole Cruz will be a "newbie" they will have to "dig" to get something on him, by that time, or when that time rolls around.
    -------------------------------------------------
No Larry. I don't happen to agree with any part of your scenario. Hillary will of course get associated with Pres. Obama, who is respected by the voters and seen as a thoughtful, intelligent, pro-middle class President. The nutjobs of course will bring out the old "Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi" cry and they will be shut down like they were before. In sum Hillary will walk in with Obama's endorsement AND just as importantly President Obama's supporters (read voters).
In regards to your disingenious claim about Ted Cruz being a "newbie" therefore they will rally have to dig to find something on him.....you're kidding right?
Let's briefly put aside this whole sundry, reckless, for-self-gain maneuver that he put us in called the government shutdown. What was he before he was made Senator? A lawyer. Hmm. You don't have to dig too far to find something foul on most of them. Who did he represent? How did he meet the Koch brothers, oh, but I digress.
Additionally there's that whole I'm Canadian, not Canadian, American born elsewhere thingy to get past.
And then...somebody is bound to bring up how many BILLIONS of dollars this whole shutdown idea of his cost us just because he didn't want hard-pressed, hard-working Americans to have affordable health insurance.
That's going to go over like a lead balloon in 2016 when Obamacare is fully operational and up and running.

Hillary left because she screwed up in Benghazi and refuses to answer questions on it. She has no business being the president because of that alone.
    ------------------–
That's an alternate reality first spun by Rand Paul. The truth of the matter is that Hillary Clinton had announced that she would not serve as SoS in a second term months, maybe a year, before the Benghazi attack took place.

Of course she did. She's not different than any other politician and will do anything, including selling her relatives to get elected.

One more thing Larry L Houston:
If they start a digging expedition anywhere near the digging expedition they are still conducting on our current President Turd Cruz doesn't have a chance of even making it through the primaries.
Adn if you think that President Obama would deny a Republican – a Teatard no less- the enrichment of the full "vetting" experience that he's been subjected to, well, then you don't really know the brother...or the Clintons for that matter.
Turd Cruz shouldn't resign his Canadian citizenship quite yet....

Hilary is still a liberal social Democrat. I'm sick of big government. Unfortunately the Repubs aren't promoting any decent candidates along the moderate lines (Cruz is too extreme, and I don't like Cristie) so things aren't looking good for me lol

(remember 'ol Jesse ventura ? )"

Except for the fact that Ventura ran against Norm Coleman (as a democrat), who in fact was the same Norm Coleman (as a Republican) who was also beaten by Al Franken.

Oops. I need to clarify my previous post. Norm Coleman changed his designated party from DFL to Republican in 1996. He ran against Jesse Ventura as a Republican not as a Democrat as I previously stated.

Otherwise my comment stands. Ventura beat two dead-beat candidates when he won the governorship in Minnesota: Norm Coleman and Skip Humphrey III.

Also, why do I keep hearing that Cruz is bucking for the GOP nomination? Don't people realize he was born in Alberta, Canada, and is therefore ineligible to run for president?

Hillary will never be President. Obama got in with ZERO vetting because you couldn't dig into him without being called a racist. Hillary has way too many skeletons, and they will all come out of the woodwork. Dominican Mama for Obama: are you paying any attention? "Pres. Obama, who is respected by the voters and seen as a thoughtful, intelligent, pro-middle class President. " Have you checked his approval/disapproval numbers lately? He has been exposed as the lying, inexperienced, fraud that he is. There will be no Obama coattails. He will be more of a liability to Hillary than Bill was to Gore.
