Did Hillary take a swipe at Biden?

Washington (CNN) - Did Hillary Clinton take a 2016 detour on her supposedly non-political paid speaking circuit?

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday that Clinton, during her latest paid speaking gig to the National Association of Convenience Stores, spent nearly half an hour discussing the story behind the 2011 Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan, specifically highlighting Vice President Joe Biden's opposition to the mission.

Clinton, the former Secretary of State who could square off against Biden for the Democratic nomination in 2016, stressed that she backed the raid, while Biden did not.

Georgia state Rep. Tom Taylor, who was in the room Tuesday for the Atlanta speech, recounted the tidbit to the Journal-Constitution.

"I know she's running for president now, because toward the end, she was asked about the Osama bin Laden raid. She took 25 minutes to answer," the Republican state lawmaker said, according to the paper. "Without turning the knife too deeply, she put it to Biden."

But a spokesman for the convenience store group who was in the audience said that account was misleading.

"There are a lot of problems with that story," said Jeff Lenard, a NACS spokesman. "I don't think anybody in the audience came away with that perception or recollection of the speech. It's not an accurate portrayal of what happened yesterday"

Nevertheless, America Rising PAC, a Republican group tracking Clinton's every move, flagged the comments for reporters yesterday, circulating them in an email titled, "Shots Fired: Clinton Attacks Biden Over Bin Laden Raid."

Audience members were forbidden from taking photographs and recording audio or video of the event, a standing policy at each of her speeches to industry groups. Journalists were not allowed to cover the speech.

Clinton is paid a reported $200,000 for her speaking appearances.

@Still waiting ... "So, what really happened in Benghazi, Hillary?"

You said the magic word "Benghazi". Remember folks every time a foil hat conspiracy guy says "Benghazi" it is a vote for Hillary if she runs! Or at least some liberal vote as the middle voters move left to get away from the "crazy-scary" folks.

Too bad she could not give five minutes to answer questions about her role in benghazi.

Hilary bombed Biden with Barrack's permission. He is also going to endorse her over his VP. This is the payback for getting Bills support during the election. So – who is surprised by that?

"Audience members were forbidden from taking photographs and recording audio or video of the event" – CNN

So instead of Obama's fake "most transparent Administration in history" campaign promise, will Hillary run with "the most opaque Administration in history"? At least that would be honest...

"LOL so you call a 40% approval rate respected, that is hilarious!!!! No one respects him anymore even members of his own party say what a falure he has been!!!"
If you have the 38% approval in the recent AP poll in mind, then I should point out that the poll was disavowed by the AP poll as seriously flawed by their contractor conducting the poll. It is an outlier. The NBC/WSJ poll has the president's approval rating at 48%, and rising.

BTW, you dare to bring up polls? What about that record low, 24%, approval rating, and falling, for the Republicans?

I am no of Hillary, but I would love for her to be elected just to see the look on Hannity, O'Reilly and other's faces the next morning. Foxtard world would go absolutely NUTS. Plus, Jon Stewart's take on the Foxtardos going nuts would be additional entertainment. Fun all around.

i'm amzed on how many people do not know that you have to be a natural born citizen of the US to run for prez. Raphael (Ted) Cruz was born in Alberta, Canada & therefore is ineligible to run as stated in the constitution that Ted always acclaims he knows so well.

Of course she'll run. She want to be president and go down in the histroy books. If she doesn't get elected this time it will be over.

Sure they know Cathy. They just don't care this time. Remember Obama was born in Kenya so he should have never been allowed to run? Funny thing is.....those same people say it's ok for Cruz to run.....

    I wonder why the change.....

Could it be because Cruz looks like them??
    What do you think Cathy??

Cathy I think you are the one who is confused. A natural born citizen is anyone born of at least one parent who is a citizen. PERIOD. John McCain was not born in the United States either but he ran for president. Doesn't matter where Cruz was born - he was an American citizen at the time of his birth. The constitution does not allow any person who was not born a citizen to run for president even though they may have become one later.

After this government fiasco, that bozo will not even win his next re-election.

The Tea Billies want to seceed from the Union – that's all. Pure and simple. They would like the US Govt to shutdown forever. That is the goal of the Confederates.

Of course she did. What did you expect? You can always count on Democrats to feed on their own, until election time.

You should take your own advice if you think President Obama wasn't vetted. Do you REALLY think in a country where it was legal to own human beings, that a potential Presidential candidate that didn't look like any of the others, and whom had a funny sounding name wasn't vetted?? Please believe they looked under every rock they could. Just because McCain didn't bring up Rev Wright didn't mean it didn't get brought up. The stupidity of the right is completely astounding. They know more about President Obama's background than he does.

I am offended that Hillary (a known crook and liar) would attack Biden. Uncle Joe Biden represents millions of American who also suffer from incontinence of the mouth.

Only Clinton's age can prevent her from presidential post. She is perfectly prepared for this work. Americans will make the right choice if they elect her as President. But it is bright and distant prospects and maybe castles in the air for her.
