Senate reaches deal; Cruz won't block it

(CNN) – Senate leaders announced Wednesday they have reached a deal to end the government shutdown and avoid a possible U.S. default.

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said he will not block a vote on the Senate deal to raise the national debt limit and temporarily end the partial government shutdown, even though he opposes the agreement because it does not address GOP objections to Obamacare.

Yippee!! The Hitler clone will not stand in the way. How sweet of him... Will someone explain to me how the hell this lunatic could rise to enough power to hold the whole country hostage? I hope that EVERYONE is taking note that this assclown is the reason behind the whole mess. We need to learn from this and not let it happen again (i.e. 2016).

His voice is beginning to sound as irritating as the screecher from AK. My hole is that he will disappear from our lives much sooner than her.

Glad to hear you haven't been affected by this shutdown Marie, and as to your hope, from your mouth to God's ears.

Repbulican Tea Party guru, Sen Ted Cruz, drove the Republican Party bus off the cliff. Sen Ted Cruz damaged the national Republican brand to advance his own self interests.

The country is hopelessly divided. Only one way out of this – get rid of them all.

"This is a one-sided partisan "deal" and still does not reflect a large portion of American citizens' concerns"

Did I miss something? I thought mitch and Harry and the whole gang worked on this all night and hammered it out together

You didn't miss anything. The right wing messaging machine is broken, and skipping like a broken record. It's stuck on stupid.

Did I miss something? I thought mitch and Harry and the whole gang worked on this all night and hammered it out together. How can it be a 'one-sided partisan "deal" '? And what 'large portion' of American citizen's concerns were not reflected? ted, sarah, and their 300 rebel flag waving entourage?
Really? I pegged you wrong freedom, I thought you were trying to be funny with your comments but I was way off. You truly believe the psycho babble.

WOW the ignorance show in your post, maybe try and look at poll after poll that say well over half of America does NOT want the ACA. And don't try and make your lame exuses as to why some don't want it, the FACT is they don't want the current ACA!!!!!!

Cruz won't block it?!!!! Can someone tell me how the hell this "person" has gained so much power? He has held this whole country hostage with his crazy ideas. Peter King called him a false prophet. I hope other republicans (i.e. the actual voters) will wake up and stop supporting this lunatic.

Great argument. What's your response to 75% of Americans don't want their government shut down, or that the Republicans have a less than 28% approval? That would seem tto imply the majority doesn't want that nonsense either.

@Me – "WOW the ignorance show in your post, maybe try and look at poll after poll that say well over half of America does NOT want the ACA. And don't try and make your lame exuses as to why some don't want it, the FACT is they don't want the current ACA!!!!!!"
    ********************************************************
Poll after poll shows about 40% approval for the ACA and about 52% disapproval. When they ask why people disapprove about 75% of the 52% think it went too far and about 25% of the 52% think it didn't go far enough (they want public option or single payer). So 40% plus 13% like the ACA or want an even more liberal plan, while 52% minus 13% want the ACA watered down, improved, or repealed.

Therefore the ACA or something more liberal is supported by a 53% to 39% margin. Perhaps you should consider who is the ignorant one before you comment.

If you thought CNN really didn't support the Cruz Circus instead of reporting the real news (the deal) consider that they cut away from the McConnell speech to get the Cruz "Reaction". The speech wasn't over yet CNN. Great job Dana. Your TMZ now without their credibility. False equivilancies, manufactured crisis and unbalanced coverage. News for simple. AJ Hammer should get Wolf's job.
