Panda cam returns as government reopens

(CNNMoney) - Panda cam is back.

The nation got its first glimpse in nearly three weeks of Tian Tian, Mei Xiang and the unnamed cub Thursday morning when the Smithsonian National Zoo brought a slate of live cameras back online. The cameras had been shuttered along with the rest of the zoo on Oct. 1 when the federal government closed. The zoo itself is still closed and will reopen to visitors on Friday.

Not to mention the S&P reporting that it slowed overall economic growth by 0.6% and caused them to reduce their projections of economic growth for the 4th quarter from 3% to 2%. But hey, that would just be too much evidence that the GOP/Teatrolls' tantrum is having a direct and undeniable negative effect on the economy's recovery, now wouldn't it?

But hey, they just had to try to negate the spike in economic activity that's expected during the holiday season...merry Xmas everyone!
