Obama puts immigration back in spotlight

Washington (CNN) - It's time to fix the United States' "broken immigration system," President Barack Obama said Thursday, citing bipartisan support to revamp immigration laws.

His speech didn't reveal anything that hasn't been said before, but the announcement put the immigration issue back in the spotlight.

This is another needed reform that will be filibustered in the senate and Boehner will not bring to a vote in the house.

Obama has no credibility left any were in the world. He's bringing up immigration reform to reflect away from all his failures, ObamaCare at he top of the list. This was his major accomplishment? yet he paid no attention to its development and presentation to the people. Once again leading from behind = no leadership

More like Obama trying to take the Obamacare disaster OUT of the spotlight by using his divisive political strategies to yet again divide and fracture our country. It is clear that Obama only does things for political reasons which benefit him and the Democrats. The well being of this country is never considered.

    "Obamacare: 1025 pages = train-wreck
Immigration Reform Bill: 1100 pages = soon to be-epic/legendary-disaster

US Constitution: 6 pages = 226 years old and ran the country for 222 years"

GOP health care reform plan = 0 pages
GOP immigration reform plan = 0 pages
United States Supreme Court Reporter = over 400 volumes and over 500,000 pages of reported SCOTUS cases interpreting the Constitution

What the heck was your point? That governance is best accomplished with coloring books?
