Official: Federal health care site should be fully functioning by end of November

(CNN) - The Obamacare website, plagued by major problems since its rollout at the start of the month, should be functioning smoothly by the end of November, according to the official now in charge of fixing it.

Jeffrey Zients told reporters on Friday that an outside contractor will handle the task of resolving technical problems that have become a serious political flashpoint for the Obama administration.

"Healthcare.gov is fixable," Zients said on a conference call.

November!!! That's too long ! Over 45,000 Americans die each year because of no health insurance. This delay will NOT be tolerated by the Repubs.,a/k/a the Party of Personal Responsibility & sometimes Compassionate Conservatives.

In a plain, simple language–these types of computer glitches can be fixed. No big deal. Again, GOP, hospitals, Doctors, insurance thugs lost the game. Do not nag. Watch out hospitals charging insurance, patients, government from Medicare. Nab, bust. Wake med. did, getting busted.

So were the repubs (not Ted Cruz but the ones that called for the delay) correct? It sure does seem like it...

Healthcare.gov MAY be fixable. Obamacare certainly is NOT. That will become more and more obvious as the days progress and millions more lose their health insurance and jobs.

As George Will recently said, Obama and the Democrats are going to look on the enrollment mess as the good old days, because when people can sign up and see what their new premiums and deductibles are for inferior insurance to what they had before Obamacare went into effect real hell is going to break lose on them.

If the Republicans were so concerned about people having health care explain their actions to defund the PPACA.

A surge in government spending in the six months before the ObamaCare exchanges went live pushed federal spending to top government contractors over the $1 billion mark, a new study finds.

According to the report released Thursday by Bloomberg Government analyst Peter Gosselin, federal spending ramped up in the months leading up to Oct. 1, with $352 million of the $1 billion in federal contracts to the top 10 ObamaCare contractors awarded during this time.

NOW THE PRICE TAG FOR THIS TRAINWRECK WILL EXCEED $1BILLION DOLLARS!!!!
    Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey Sonny, maybe you should concentrate on finding an executive office that can actually get something done instead of rolling out a system that doesn't work – AT ALL.;

CNN... TEH OBAMANETWORK, whre are the Big Dramatic headlines on Obamacare, the Ones you used when Republican poll numbers went down. Oh, I see the republican poll numbers where a bigger story for CNN, who wants to keep the Obamacare disaster quiet, they work for Obama. Candy Crowley, Woldf Blitzer, Gloria Borger, Anderson Cooper etc... all Liberal all Pro-Obama, ... CNN should admit they are Liberal Pro-Obama Network, I mean there ratings are already lower then MSNBC, their sister station.

It may be "fixed", but will anyone really care? The economics don't work – never have (except in the fantasies of liberals) and never will.

“The product is good. The health insurance that’s being provided is good. It’s high quality, and it’s affordable,” says Obama. “People can save money — significant money — by getting insurance that’s being provided through these marketplaces.”

    Wait! That’s not all.

“The Affordable Care Act is not just a Web site. It’s much more,” Obama says. “Billions of dollars have been saved by seniors already. That’s part of the law. It’s already in place. It’s happening right now.”

Now, how much would you expect to pay for something like this?

“Through the marketplaces, you can get health insurance for what may be the equivalent of your cellphone bill. Or your cable bill. And that’s a good deal. . . . And that product is working. It’s really good.”

If you act now, you’ll also get the matching carving fork, the versatile six-in-one kitchen tool, a set of six steak knives and the spiral slicer — all for $9.95.

So let's see, we award no-bid contracts to whoever assembled this crap website and pay them hundreds of millions of dollars. Then, less than a month later we hire some other company to assemble a proper website. I highly doubt the original (failed) contractor will pay the costs involved with the fix so we'll be paying again.

Will the administration please blow more of our money to protect your legacy, if it takes hundreds of trillions please don't hesitate. Our kids want nothing more than another billion dollars of debt to keep this monstrosity rolling.
