Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama and the Senate Intelligence Committee didn't know the United States was collecting communications of allied leaders such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the panel's chairman said Monday.
"The White House has informed me that collection on our allies will not continue, which I support," Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California said in a statement that confirmed recent news reports on the surveillance network revealed in classified leaks by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
snakes strike more than once when you cant see them
We all know that is just a political lie. Of course Obama knew......no one can be that uninformed in that job. Not anyone.
Nobody that works for obama tells him anything? Whats the point of keeping obama employed if he 'doesn't know anything'?
So, here's the question, if Obama didn't know, why apy then? What's the point of spying if the person thyat would benefit from the spying doesn't know it going on?
Feinstrein and Obama are both bald-faced commie liars.
Oh.....so I guess this means Obama's NOT a dictator! What a relief!
Since this has going on for 10 years I think it would be interesting to find out whether Bush knew about this or not...
Don't they tell president whom they are spying esply foreign dignitary? What kind of lacking inter-exchanges?
So their excuse is , nobody knows or knew and that lets them off the hook for any responsibility and accountability.
This is what happens when you have no leadership in Washington.
