Obamacare 'War Room' docs: Few options, higher prices?

Washington (CNN) - Officials expressed concern that the next shoe to drop in the evolving story about the Affordable Care Act would be disappointment from consumers once they are able to get on the troubled healthcare.gov website – disappointment because of sticker shock and limited choice, according to a new document obtained by CNN.

WATCH: Obama rebuttals accusations his health care law is forcing Americans off their plans.

"Mike described a general concern of PM (Project Management): getting to the point where the website is functioning properly and individuals begin to select plans; the media attention will follow individuals to plan selection and their ultimate choices; and, in some cases, there will be fewer options than would be desired to promote consumer choice and an ideal shopping experience. Additionally, in some cases there will be relatively high cost plans," say the notes from the Obama administration's Obamacare 'War Room' from one week ago.

OMG!!! Wait until Obama reads about this in the newspaper or hears it on the nightly news!! He will be SO shocked that he was telling yet more lies.

Yes, that other big lie of you will save $2500 a year will soon be yet more egg on Obama's face. I wonder how many lies he and all of his lying supporters will spew to try and further deceieve the American people.

Yes, Obama and the Democrats, doubling down on the lies because they think the American people are complete morons. Well, they elected this lying con artist twice so they may be right!

how wonderful... liberals create health and drug dependency problems with liberal policies, then want to tax addicts to fix the problems you created. and these are the same whack jobs that want to run the country?

As usual, no solution offered, but plenty of insults. I guess you must be perfectly happy with alcohol being legal and being taxed, or do you live in a dry county and live on the front lawn of the local Baptist Church with the rest of the new Pharisees?

i have a solution. round up all you leftist socialist communist democrats and ship you all to cuba. fidel is looking for more good commies and you all fit the bill. we can trade you for the millions of cubans that want to escape that leftist hell hole. it would be a win-win solution!

Way to go: win people over to your point of view by questioning their intelligence. I guess that's easier than attempting to understand how the real world operate, and since the Right has no solutions ( as usual) other than "get rid of it" because they are so convinced that we lived in a Golden Age prior to Obama, they really have no business commenting. Where are their solution? Where is all the vast private sector expereince they have to draw on-oh that's right, this was their colution which they are doing their best to not participate in. Do you want crappy insurance, or do you want a minimum standard for the insurers to meet? That is what this is about. If you had a lousy policy, its going away, just like open enrollment at your company every year, only you have more choices.

Real Health Insurance has been expensive for years. If you want cheap get one of the junk policies with $20,000 deductibles that does not cover hospital care, no prescription coverage, lab coverage, emergency room coverage or other things that a person really needs when they are ill.

OMG!!! Wait until Obama reads about this in the newspaper or hears it on the nightly news!!

You know, I remember another President who had this type of memory Donna is shrilly whining about, but in that case the republicants loved him and put him up to almost godlike status and as far as many of the righties nowadays, it was the LAST republicant president (because they want voting Americans to forget the bush regime). Though he would be considered a RINO today, Reagan could never remember anything. One catch phrase from all the comedians and Carson (the only real evening show at the time) was, "Well, I just don't know". Old Ron couldn't remember who he was married to or his own name and it was no big news when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's because the Dems had known that since the Iran Contra scandal broke. His memory of everything suddenly went away. Is this a second term thing?

@Donna, more lies from GOP and Rethuglicans, because they are bribed by insurance thugs–whether you believe it or not ACA is a law. Period. Why didn't you cry when Bush drained on Wars? Color? Nonsense. Glitch is fixable. Google will fix. This Law is nation's dire need. Why didn't you cry then? Yes, American people were MORANS TO ELECT REAGAN, BUSH–drain on society, nation, morally bankrupt.

Well, Donna, I guess you don't like the real world of capitalis, where companies have to compete for your business. Tell me how the old system you keep pining for was so much better, when we would see double digit increases every year with no corresponding increase in coverage. I guess you really are a socialist at heart.

correction: it is market forces being directed by the 2,500 page obamacare legislation and the over 20,000 pages (and growing)of rulles and regulations those 2,500 pages spawned. health insurance companies now are under the thumb of the federal government so you cannot continue to blame them for what they are being forced to do by the federal goverment. enough of the lies and deceit please. obama has given us all quite enough of it.

Whatever the problems are I can say with absolute certainty that:

    1. Obama didn't do it.
    2. Obama doesn't know anything about it.
    3. Obama is as frustrated as we are.
    4. Obama vows to get to the botton of it and fix it.
    5. Obama will go golfing and nothing will change.

The Obama administration has now morphed into a horrendous version of Ground Hog Day. The only thing that changes is the disaster de jour. Their responses are always the same though.

I love the new liberal talking point about bad insurance, or insurance that isn't worth the paper it was written on, or it's swiss cheese insurance. Thank you thank you thank you, dear liberals, for being able to show me the way and tell me what type of insurance I need. What would I do without you?

Can anyone give an honest answer as to why I must have maternity care as part of my insurance when I'm a 44 year old man?

Because your individual needs do not matter anymore. It is the need of the left wing hive that matters. Your added costs is really a tax subsidy to pay for that health care coverage for a woman you don't know. It is just too bad that money can't be used to help feed your kids. The left wingers probably also think they eat too much and need to lose weight.

  16. If You Like Your Plan You Can Keep It

The fact that the Obama Administration will not reveal the actual enrollment numbers if the ACA means one of two things. Either the system is so bad they cannot monitor in real time the actual enrollment numbers OR the actual enrollment numbers are so low it would be too humiliating for them to admit the truth. Then, compare the real enrollment numbers to the number of people who have had their insurance plans canceled. Obama loses badly either way.

Actually, if you look at the lies and misrepresentations being made in the top left corner of this home page, the federal government should be investigating itself and prosecuting the people doing this web site for fraud, misrepresentation, bait and switch and numerous other false claims. There are so many lies just on this one page that you have to believe the rest of the web site is nothing but lies as well.

Oh, they know the truth. It will be buried just like the truth of all of their other failures. They figured if they could bury the truth about the death of an American Border Patrol agent and 4 Americans, including our amabassador, they can bury anything.

Lying and burying the truth is all the Obama adminstration knows how to do well. And if anybody dares tell the truth or leak information, well they get the Rosen or IRS treatment. Obama is corruption in action, pure and simple.

@tom 1- tell me why I have to pay taxes to the school system when I have no kids. Sorry tom 1 it is what it is you should know that if you are 44 years old. We have always paid for things we don't need or don't use. If I was charged for only what I use I would be rich and would not have time to read some of these miserable, hateful responses on this website.

Did you actually have something meaningful you were trying to say? I get better more meaningful debate from my three year old. But I have come to expect as much from the lefties and their two year old verbal and grammar skills.

    "EX-Republican"

Yeah, sure. Anyhoo, you make a very fair argument. I do agree that you should not, as a homeowner, have to pay in to the public school system. I think that is absolutley not right. But, you know, the unions and their schools must have their money. I mean, why should someone have a choice of which school to go to? Our president certainly doesn't feel that you should have a choice....unless, of course, you make enough money like he does to send your child whereever you want because you can afford it. School vouchers??? Who needs that?

So now our payments to a private company for our health insurance is part of the tax code??? Isn't that wonderful. The Democrats couldn't steal enough money from Americans through the tax system so they have now used Obamacare to turn health insurance companies into tax collectors in order to redistribute your pay check. WAKE UP AMERICA!
