With elections looming, Obamacare rattling Democratic nerves

Washington (CNN) - Quick, can you hear it? That creaking sound from Washington is the nerves of congressional Democrats in response to the political firestorm raging around Obamacare.

The botched rollout of the Affordable Care Act's vital new marketplaces, coupled with insurers notifying more than a million Americans that their policies were being canceled, raised questions about the administration competence and honesty in selling and implementing President Barack Obama's signature health care reforms.

The dems shoud be scared right now but things can turn around quick. The dems took a huge political gamble with ACA and if the current trend continues the dems are going to be in serious trouble for 2014 and 2016.

Shaking my head in laughter. A word of advice to GOPerville. If you are hanging your hats on this one issue, you are all going to be a bit more confused come election night 2014 much in the same manner Karl Rove was confused on election night 2012.

The whining? Yeah, I can hear it. That's the goal isn't it? To keep the whiners whining.

Have a great weekend everyone. I've had my fill of whine for the day.

I have never seen a group of people be such a bunch of scaredy-cats.
Gutless wonders. You gotta wonder where they found the cojones to run for public office in the first place.
    Stop feeding into the nontroversy.
    The President apologized.
It is time you all developed your own narrative as opposed to playing into the one created by the Republicans and the media.
Flip the script and stop trembling over future imaginary monsters and things that go bump in the night.
Do you like green eggs and ham?!

Just tell the truth dummies! It's become obvious no one knew the insurance companies would cancel existing policies instead of just modifying them. Insurance carriers are finding ways to continue to screw us all.

People losing their health plans was by design. Obamacare will not work unless people do lose their plans. they have to get and pay for those plans with all of the extras that they don't use in order to create more revenue to cover the people with preexisting conditions. Obama knew he was lying all along.

Democrats should be scared! First, the law was rammed through Democrate controlled Congress and Senate using shady procedures. Second Republicans told the American people that a government run healthcare exchange\system would be inefficient and costly to you the tax payer. Third the Republicans begged the American people to hear them and their warnings about how Obamacare was going to cost much more than what the Democrats claimed. Fourth the Democrats used the mainstream media to bash the Republicans and make them sound and look out of touch and mean spirited. How do Republicans look to you now? They were right on all fronts with Obamacare. This scenario in history exposes many thing, not least of which is the media's control over the minds of Americans, but also programs like this are socialist in nature and cause chaos among normally calm individuals. Lastly, it shows that the only real achievement President Obama can claim is now gone. And it also shows him many times over lying to the AMerican people. It was no suprise that President Obama went to his political allies at NBC/MSNBC to have an interview. We all understand that President Obama needs softballs questions lobbed at teh moment.CNN or especially Fox would have not let him off so easy. Again, this is President Obama clinging to his political spinners to get him out of this hell his now finds himself in. Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave When First We Practice to Deceive.

Yeah, Democrats might have reason to watch the ACA fallout- but given the approval rate of the GOP is a paltry 22%, and many Americans fear the GOP "is a threat to America", and given another round of election losses, the GOP would appear to have much more to be concerned with than the Democrats do over a web site.
Shoot, it isn't like the Democrats tried to overthrow the government last month, or that they flushed away billions of dollars.

Congressional democrats really need to stand up for the American people and take credit for the ACA. I am tired of right wingnuts, who have never done anything positive for the American people, getting their domestic terrorism agenda out 24/7 on Fox sleaze.

With all the damage republicans have done to our country in the past 15 years, they should come with warning labels.

Democrats should be scared! First, the law was rammed through Democrate controlled Congress and Senate using shady procedures.
    ------------------–
Shady procedures in the Senate? It passed the GOP filibuster in December 2009 with 60 votes, which brought the bill to the floor and began two months of debate. Once it passed the filibuster, all you need is a simple majority to vote on it. But, the Republicans wanted to keep proposing amendment after amendment, which effectively amounted to another filibuster. Harry Reid shut it down and called for an "up or down" vote, and it passed with 51 votes. What's shady about that? Nothing.

Rattling nerves? This presumes that they have any. Most in D.C. don't, sadly.

Obamacare won't fail because of slow-to-start websites. It won't even fail because of Republicans. It could fail because of scaredy-cat Dems, though. I'm a registered Independent because time and again the Democratic Party has failed to fight for liberal values. If they abandon the President and abandon the cause of providing health insurance to those who need it, they will lose the Senate in 2014. It's just that simple.
