Obamacare site going down for maintenance ahead of deadline

(CNN) – HealthCare.gov, the problem-plagued federal online site for signing up for insurance under Obamacare, will go down for extended maintenance on Friday night and overnight ahead of Saturday's deadline to have it working for most people, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said.

The work is set to last from 9 p.m. ET Friday until 8 a.m. ET Saturday.

It's not the first time the website has gone down; the administration has frequently done regular weekend maintenance, usually on Sunday mornings.

The republican health care web site is not working, congressional republicans are not working, lies from the right wing crazy media are not working, threats of gloom and doom by republicans are not working, republican efforts to start a war with Iran are not working, republican trickle down economics is not working, tax cuts for the wealthy are not working, so I think we can let the ACA website get better.

    That makes sense.

Changes cannot be installed while something is active. Ever try to update Windows while windows was running? NO. It updates when you sign off.
