Is Congress getting special treatment on Obamacare?

Washington (CNN) - Congress' tangled relationship with the Affordable Care Act entered another phase Monday, raising a new question about whether lawmakers are really experiencing the exchanges the way other Americans do.

Monday night was the deadline for members of Congress and the thousands of people who work on their staffs to sign up for the Obamacare exchanges, where they must go to get any job-related health benefits. But with technical problems popping up in the past few days, House administrators gave employees (including elected members) a safety net. If they were blocked by technical problems, staff members will still be able to sign up for another week.

Why should these congress guys need government subsidy? While poor/middle-class are paying for healthcare, these guys get healthcare, if not given–I bet they would not have passed this Law. At one point down the road, we better remove this subsidy to congress–let them come just like any one.

Congress and their staff always live under special rules. Why the question?

No Sniffy – Congress and Democrats need to be treated better than everybody else. More free stuff for the Democrat voter.....how else can the votes be bought?

Last time I checked, Congress was very much Republican.

They are just living under the rules they made for the rest of us. Its fine if it takes a little longer due to the bungled website. The only one that is outright deviating from the group is Reid's staff which is no surprise since we all know what is good for us does not apply to him and his people.

    GOP/Tea-hats – the helpful folks:
    – saw the website was having trouble so there were DDOS attacks to make it worse
    – saw the website was having trouble so put this on display to make fun of it
    – saw the website was confusing so put up fake websites to confuse people further
    – saw that young people were key so started a beer campaign on campuses to discourage young people away
    – invented imaginary death panels to scare people
    – made of nontroverses like this one to annoy and make fun of it

    Really – STOP HELPING.

Seeing a small animal sick and in pain, they would probably opt for poking it with a stick over taking it to a vet.

It doesn't matter, this program is doomed for failure. Oh and why we didn't let GM go BK is beyond me, another 10B lost all to save pensions.

Free Stuff? What on Earth, and not the flat Earth, either, what on Earth are you folks on the right talking about? This "free stuff" that you're talking about are the benefits packages that members of Congress and their staffs have been receiving for decades. All of a sudden, a new health care reform law is passed and now those same old benefits are labeled as "free stuff"?

The conservative diatribe is that "Obama is a socialist dictator enslaving us all through (fill in the blank)". They do a quick read through an article, pick out a few key words, and go for it. They will not be dissuaded by logic, facts, or research of any kind. Today it is "Obama is a socialist dictator enslaving us all through giving away stuff to buy votes"

What a wonderful, well thought out and well planned bill this ACA was. Thankyou Congress for looking out for America first and your members last. Period!

She does so on a daily basis, despite the fact that Ted Cruz very proudly took credit for it, just days after it ended.
