    I find it very fishy that this big in your face bully didn't know what was going on.
    This was not a matter of a couple of hours of a traffic jam created by his administration either. 8 am pretty sure that those around him are just like him in temperament and they probably had a good laugh at the expense of the people of NJ.
    Where's the car thief when you really need him.

    Now Chris Christie is the fish in the frying pan .

    Those who he threw under the bus will not be so loyal when criminal charges start being brought up.

    I was wrong. I expected him to be smart and take a page out of how Obama's handled these types of things, but the substance doesn't match. Some of what Christie's saying is downright bizarre and his demeanor is all wrong.

    Bridge-to-nowhere-gate. Repubs are not nearly as good at revenge politics, but this is the way you handle a situation like a man. You take responsibility and FIRE the people who have infiltrated your government to do it harm.

    i'm sure anybody involved in this juvenile act will be gone, gone, gone and soon. christie is a no nonsense kind of guy.

    contrast this with the endless incompetence and illegal behavior in the obama adminstration and nobody gets held accountable. they end up with promotions, not pink slips. sebelius is a prime example.

    Compare Christies performance and follow up to ObMas Nd any scandal, particularly the IRS targeting of conservative groups. Amazing difference.

    The IRS investigation led by an Obama contributor is still on going and will be until the most corrupt president in history is out of office.

    Isn't it precious how everytime some rightwing character gets tangled in their own web, the usual suspects come out of the woodwork and invoke President Obama in an effort to deflect?

    Why did he say that he lost sleep over this the last two nights? Didn't he just hear about it yesterday after his workout?

    Geez, somebody holding people accountable and firing them! Obama could learn something from Christie. But now that these people will be looking for a job I'm sure the Obama adminstration will hire them as they just never seem to have enough clowns and incompetents in their adminstration.

    Deflection? Of course not.

    An honest comparison about how two leaders handle similar issues. Obama lies, says he knows nothing about anything, just read about it in the newspapers, pretends he'll get to the bottom of it, appoints a campaign contrbutor to investigate and then nothing ever happens and it gets buried.

    Christie immediaitely fires those involved. Now THAT is a LEADER!!

    So why does Sebelius still have her job after she did much more damage to the American people?

    Except you miss the differences. The people under Obama who you accuse of politically motivated wrongdoing were not members of Obama's inner circle and were never proven to have engaged in politically motivated wrongdoing. Those are still just accusations, which have since devolved into the magic "cover-up" accusations a witch-hunt always resorts to when it fails to stir up any concrete evidence. For Christie, this was his inner circle of confidantes and it has been proven with concrete evidence to have been politically motivated wrongdoing. You may think there's no difference because you so desperately believe the accusations against Obama, but proof matters.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    No, christie threw people under the bus when he got caught. Why should Sebelius be fired? Full details please, none on the angry, baseless rightwing talking points.

    I watched him speak and saw him take about 7 questions from reporters before I stopped watching.
    Ms. Kelly was obviously made the scapegoat, closely followed by his campaign manager.
    He reiterated so many times the line "I knew nothing about this" that everyone that was watching the press conference with me was rolling their eyes in disbelief.
    The phrase "He doth protest too much" shouldn't been the running caption.
    He looked towards the end of his monologue like he desperately needed a bottle of water. He became visibly dry mouthed.
    Marco Rubio came to mind.
    He didn't convince the Republicans that were in the room with me. Enough said.

    So you are saying he should have lied and stonewalled like Obama does to protect the guily and prevent the truth from coming out?

    @Donna

    "Christie immediaitely fires those involved. Now THAT is a LEADER!!" – No that is CYA and hope people believe he is blind.

    "So why does Sebelius still have her job after she did much more damage to the American people?" – It might be good to start with the conservative hackers that bogged down the ACA website and published the attack software or the Calif. conservatives that set up alternative look-alike website decoys (many news reports at the time Oct-Nov 2013). That is serious crime – when were the trials for those?

    "So you are saying he should have lied and stonewalled like Obama does to protect the guily and prevent the truth from coming out?"

    Where's your proof that Obama lied with respect to any of the politically motivated wrongdoing that the GOP/Teatrolls/Issa have been trying to prove occurred? Where are the documents? Obama's produced thousands upon thousands of documents and still nothing has been proven. But whatever...go ahead...tell me there are elephants hiding in the strawberry patch.
