Washington (CNN) - You could read the entire 1,582-page, $1 trillion omnibus spending plan announced in Congress Monday night. Or you can check out our handy cheat sheet of some of the key winners and losers in the plan.
Winners
Little kids: Big winners. Funding for the Head Start and early Head Start programs would jump by $1 billion. That's $1 billion more than last year's low point after budget cuts.
FULL STORY
That's great for the children. Head start may not be much of a 'Head start' .but atleast single working woman have a safe place to take their kids,so they can work. Not to get off subject, but something must be done about all of the low life men who bail on their kids. I mean even liberals have to admit that their base ( poor, uneducated and woman) Need much more help then just hand outs. They need a true hand up.
EPA: "Republicans boasted that with this bill they have cut the EPA's funding by 20% since 2010".
Something to think about next time you vote. The Republicans would get rid of the EPA entirely if they could.
Not a good idea.
Happy for the children and the disabled Vets, etc.
As we have seen, cutting the EPA is simply brilliant: Freedom Industries Chemicals (Koch linked) ruining the water supply for 344,000 in W. Virginia; BP and the Gulf of Mexico; Oil pipeline spills going unreported; record pipeline spills in N. Dakota (more than 200); rising carbon emissions. Yup, the Republicans are pro-life and anti-environment. Makes perfect sense.
Uneducated, right, and I'm reminded of bill mahers interview for a movie, southern older white guy, no money, lives on food stamps and government handouts, claimed he had absolutely no use for the government, and wished it gone altogether, and there's your uneducated voting block, fool!
Its easy to see why the gop loves you, but why do you favor them so strongly? Try doing research on those topics, I know I know, they tell you so you dont have to, but their every talking points flies in the face of historical facts, expert opinion, and common sense, just saying.

GOP disaster plan: "no one is responsible – corporations love you – just don't breathe or drink for a while."
GOP entitlement plan: "you're lazy – you're on your own – good luck – remember corporations love you"
Nothing says "freedumb" like a little crude in your drinking water.
Repubs and Dems understand that the bickering and silly standoffs, have hurt them both politically
of course they want to get rid of the EPA so they can the companies that support their campaign's can make billions more polluting the planet. Repos are not people friendly only money friendly
Niether party will save us that's for sure, but the only thing the gop has fought for is tax cuts for the rich, which is trickle down economics, then Romney was yelping about it doesn't work, thinking people aren't smart enough to know that's exactly what his tax code he wanted did. they have proven time and time again they rely on ignorance to remain in power.
